Your Divine Potential

Infinite States

Imagine yourself standing at the crossroads of transformation. I find myself in California, having recently moved from another state. When we move from one place to another, we begin to notice the unique energy and characteristics of each location. In California, particularly in LA and the west side, we encounter a strong influence—a pendulum of societal beliefs and values. These current beliefs and values strongly remind me of growing up in the Swedish 70s. Please note that this discussion is not intended to be political; instead, we explore the energetic dynamics known as pendulums. I am just reminded of the powerful grip of the STATE. Neville Goddard’s concept of states.  These energy structures of beliefs and ideologies have the potential to drain our vitality and consume our lives if we remain unaware.

The purpose of this video is to shed light on the concept of states, but if you feel triggered by topics such as political ideologies, you may choose to click off at this time since I will be discussing this for the purpose of highlighting s state of mind.

At any given moment, you and I exist within a specific state. As Neville Goddard elucidates, the state we most frequently return to becomes our dwelling place, shaping our experiences. Reflecting on my own upbringing in a 1970s Swedish egalitarian society, I witnessed how economic equality was prioritized. While it appeared ideal from the outside, this approach unintentionally stifled spiritual growth and access to one’s true potential.

By dismissing the spiritual/consiousness realm, prioritizing  the peer pressure of the collective while undermining the individual, and placing political ideologies as the guiding force, individuals became disempowered, leading to alarming rates of despair and diminished self-worth. This experiment inadvertently created a mind virus that was  known as the “Jantelagen” in Swedish,  a psychological law, engraved in the Swedish psyche, promoting mediocrity and discouraging individual excellence.

However, here’s the truth: You ARE better than everyone else at something. There are unique talents and gifts buried inside, that only you possess, awaiting their expression in the world. It might not be something that the whole world sees, I am not saying that at all, I am saying that within your own heart, there is a you that is far from mediocre. You might call this your purpose. Perhaps you are the best soother of souls that you have ever known. Maybe your mainline to God gives you such  inspiration that it is like wisdom flows out of you effortlessly, or maybe you have within you the boundary-breaking desire to populate the planet Mars. I don’t know, and this is the main point. Only you know.

While societal conditioning may have influenced us, back then, in the Scandinavian model,  to conform to mediocrity, we can break free from these limitations.. Keep in mind that I am not merely talking about experiencing an outer success in your particular part of the world, but more importantly, experiencing that you are ALIVE. That you are LIVING this life, not just suffering through it.

Consider two children—one molded by the Jantelagen mindset of “mediocre at best”, and the other growing up in America, where the pursuit of wealth is emphasized even if financial resources are lacking. Both individuals, based on their state of mind, may hinder themselves from achieving their desires. One from the fear of sticking out as trying to be “better than everyone else”, and the other because he believes that without money he can’t achieve certain goals. They may not even allow themselves to dream, surrendering to these self-imposed limitations long before the dream can take flight. The contrast between these mindsets reveals that it all comes down to our mindset—a state that can be consciously shifted. A state can be changed.

“An occupant established title to property by dwelling in it and is free to come and go as he chooses. An inmate is confined. Whether it be a prison or asylum, the inmate is restrained by law, yet he is just as free as the occupant, but he does not know it.” -Neville Goddard

You have grown with SOMETHING handed down to you, SOME type of false belief. Are you an occupant, or are you an inmate? Do you understand that you have the keys to your own prison cell in your very hand? ARE you bound by psychological laws that say you are mediocre? Are you bound by a belief that cash is king? WHO and WHAT have you taken on as an IDOL? Only your inner consciousness, Godself, is God. Have no other Gods, but is your inherited ideology your God? Examine this and if you spot limitations, remember that you are an OCCUPANT of this state, not an inmate.

As you embark on the journey of the Law of Assumption, remember that you too have a template, an underlying state that influences your perception and experiences. Shatter this belief. Create beliefs consciously and deliberately.

We are always dwelling in and thinking from a state of consciousness.”

It may be challenging to recognize this template from your current vantage point. However, as you undergo the process of shifting states, you will look back and marvel at the illusions you once held.

“Do you know where you dwell? It is the place (the state) to which you consciously return. That is your dwelling place.

A lady calls me time and time again telling me how the people in her office do not like her. She moves to another job, only to call again to tell how the people in this office have turned against her. Finding another job the same story is repeated.

When I ask how she knows they don’t like her, she tells me how they get in a corner and whisper about her. She is so convinced that this is true, that she goes from job to job to job finding only those who dislike her, and although I tell her that the world is all imagination, she cannot believe it.

But I tell you, the world without, which appears so very real, is a world of imagination. Imagine people are against you, that they are constantly talking about you and you will go from job to job and watch the same experiences repeat themselves, for people are only personifying your thoughts. So where are you dwelling? Tonight I want to show you how to move, how to occupy a state and not be its inmate.” -Neville Goddard

The most prevalent template for many is the state of unworthiness, leading to doubts about our manifesting abilities and questions about whether our desires are “meant to be”. But take a deep breath and pause. Remind yourself: You can manifest anything you desire. Your reality is determined by your intention and belief. There is no predetermined destiny—only the choices you make. Reject the notion of unworthiness imposed upon you and embrace your inherent divinity. Within you resides a spark of God, and by embracing your true nature, you tap into the infinite potential within.

“ It takes no time to move from one state into another, just the willingness to let go. You cannot serve two masters.”

– Neville Goddard

You can not simultaneously stay in your comfortable worn shoes, and wear new shoes.

You have to decide that you are COMPLETELY free, or you stay in your old state. Only you can make yourself move.

“You either believe me or you don’t. You are either with me or against me. Burn your bridges and completely abandon yourself to the person you want to be. Reason cannot understand, therefore he will say it cannot be.”

Release the need for external validation and approval. You don’t have to wait for others to recognize your worthiness. Declare it for yourself

“Remember, everything remains just as it is unless you move. This room will stay as it is until you move, but if you move the slightest, the room although still the same, will be seen differently.

The world is finished, yet seen so different when viewed from another state of consciousness.

No one is any greater or more important than you are.

They are only a state, and many of them don’t even know it. In fact, most of them know nothing of what you have heard tonight. You are blessed because you have heard as you are told.”

 -Neville Goddard

Affirm your inherent richness and uniqueness. Acknowledge the brilliance within you that is destined to fulfill your purpose. Reject the false narratives that limit you based on race, finances, or any other arbitrary factor. You are a magnificent creation of the divine, and it is time to step into your true power.

You may not have the educational background, be in the proper social circle, have the finances needed to fulfill your desire, but if you move in and occupy the state, in your imagination, thinking from its fulfillment, the world will personify your thoughts and objectify the state you have occupied

 Rumi says :

“You were born with potential.

You were born with goodness and trust.

You were born with ideals and dreams.

You were born with greatness.

You were born with wings.

You are not meant for crawling, so don’t.

You have wings.

Learn to use them and fly.”

Embrace your wings and soar to new heights of self-realization and fulfillment. Know that you have the ability to rewrite your state, shape your reality, and create a life that aligns with your deepest desires. Embrace your divine potential and shine your light upon the world.

“Every state, regardless of what it is, is waiting for occupancy. The great tragedy of the world is perpetual construction, deferred occupancy. Construct your dream state in your mind’s eye and regardless of what the world may tell you, say to yourself “It can be.” You may not have the educational background, be in the proper social circle, have the finances needed to fulfill your desire, but if you move in and occupy the state, in your imagination, thinking from its fulfillment, the world will personify your thoughts and objectify the state you have occupied.”

 – Neville Goddard

“When Christ (imagination) begins to stir in you, go all out and completely abandon yourself to a state. Determine to either sink or swim, dare to move from one state into another.”

– Neville Goddard

Choose, this night, where you would like to live, for the world is yours and every state within it. It’s entirely up to you where you live.
