The Occult vs Law Of Assumption

Some people confuse what the Law of Assumption is, and use methods that will do absolutely nothing to help you, such as “casting spells over drinking water” and other bizarre sorcery-like methods. Please feel freeto stop this immediately, it does nothing. This is coming from a lack perspective, adisempowered mindset and here is why:

The Occult vs Law Of Assumption

  1. Occult Practices:
  • The term “occult” refers to hidden or esoteric knowledge and practices. Occultism can be secret knowledge. Secret societies ie Freemasonry or other initiation based organizations who profess “secret information.” Scientology is probably an occult practice, and involves initiation to higher and higher levels of this supposed “secret”. Nothing is ever revealed, except more and more nonsense, or more and more twisted rites of passage.
  • Occult practices often involve rituals, symbolism, spell casting, mind control, brain washing, deception, and spiritual beliefs in deities and spirits..
  • Some examples of every day ordinary occult practices are: examples include astrology, tarot readings, and various forms of divination. NOT compatible with the Law of Assumption, by a longshot.
  • Occult practices can involve giving oneself over to OTHER spirits, ie NOT the spirit of God, or the Holy Spirit. These people usually LIKE being demonically possessed, they enjoy their malice, hypersexuality, duplicity etc. They try to sell their product using deception. This is NOT Law of Assumption. No need to evoke spirits or “vibrations” in the Law of Assumption
  1. Law of Assumption:
  • The Law of Assumption is a concept associated with manifestation and personal development, only.
  • It states that assuming a certain state of mind, or concept of self, can influence one’s possibilities.
  • It is not tied to occult practices, as it is about mindset.
  • It does not use vibrations.
  • It is not a secret, does not initiate anyone, does not have a “method” that has to be mastered.
  • Uses states of mind, such as confidence to navigate fear of failure.
  • Law of assumption sees manifestation as “the manifestation of the state of mind”, and the ability to maintain a desired state of mind for some time.

Common Myths:

c. Law of Assumption is Magical Thinking:
– The Law of Assumption is more about mindset and belief than magical thinking. It emphasizes the impact of one’s assumptions on shaping their reality.

d. Occult Practices and Law of Assumption are the Same:
– Occult practices and Law of Assumption are distinct fields. Occult practices often have ritualistic, spiritual or symbolic elements, while Law of Assumption is rooted in psychology, mindset and communication.

e. Law of Assumption Ignores Action:
– The Law of Assumption doesn’t negate the importance of action. It suggests that a positive mindset can complement and enhance one’s actions, however tha actions are never: Spells, rituals, lighting candles, drinking magic infused water etc.

  1. Positive Thinking in the Law of Assumption:
  • The Law of Assumption encourages a positive and constructive mindset, but not toxic positivity.
  • Positive thinking, in this context, involves fostering beliefs and assumptions that align with the desired outcomes.
  • It acknowledges challenges and obstacles but focuses on finding solutions by assuming the state of mind of having already found a solution, and maintaining a confident outlook.

On The Other Hand:

  1. Toxic Positivity:
  • Toxic positivity refers to an excessive and unrealistic focus on positive emotions, denying or invalidating any negative feelings.

The REAL Law of Assumption Mindset:

  1. Healthy Mindset vs. Denial:
  • The Law of Assumption promotes a healthy mindset by recognizing the power of beliefs and assumptions in shaping one’s reality.
  • It does not encourage denial of problems but encourages individuals to address challenges with a mindset of confidence and improvement of concept of self.
  1. Embracing a Range of Emotions:
  • Unlike toxic positivity, the Law of Assumption recognizes that it’s natural to experience a range of emotions, including negative ones.
  • Law of Assumption uses positive assumptions to navigate challenges while cultivation a strong sense of oonfidence, it is a positive mindset without suppressing genuine feelings.

  1. Alignment with Positive Values:
  • The Law of Assumption, as described by Neville Goddard, emphasizes values such as love, harmony, and resolution. A soulution focused approach.
  • Practices or beliefs considered demonic or incompatible with these positive values, as defined by certain churches, are not part of the Law of Assumption.
  1. Clarification on Coaches and Vibration:
  • Some individuals, including coaches, may misunderstand the Law of Assumption, especially when it comes to concepts like using “vibrations” to manifest.
  • The Law of Assumption does not involve manipulating vibrations or relying on occult practices for manifestation.
  1. Neville Goddard’s Lectures:
  • Neville Goddard’s lectures provide clarity on the principles and methods of the Law of Assumption.

The Law of Assumption, as taught by Neville Goddard, is a manifestation technique rooted in positive mindsets, distinct from occult practices. It focuses on personal empowerment through assuming “the stater of mind of the desired reality” and does not involve the ritualistic or any spiritual elements often associated with the occult.

Some further points to consider, a positive mindset and improved concept of self, as well as the ability to assume any state of mind at any moment does not equal a belief that one “is God”. Most people who have great lives have created these lives without ever claiming the omnipotence associated with the traditional concept of God. It is a strange limiting belief that most Law of Assumption coaches seem to feel necessary to perpetuate. It is simply put utter nonsense.

While making a choice to create your dreams, it is valid and fine, to maintain a balanced perspective and understanding the metaphorical or symbolic nature of certain expressions used in the context of personal development and manifestation. Instead of taking everything one hears literally, learn how to interpret such phrases as ” I am God of my reality” within the intended context and not extend them beyond their intended meaning. You did not create the universe, thus you are not really God.

When you misunderstood the WHOLE Concept:

  1. Misuse and Lack of Empowerment:
  • There is only one sp for you….this reflects a disempowered mindset, characterized by a sense of hopelessness and a belief in a lack of choice in love prospects.
  • Instead”They have no free will in my reality”, reflects people who use the Law of Assumption to control the other person’s actions, which is not the intended application of the law. -No one to change but self- Neville Goddard

Instead:

  1. Focus on Assuming the End State:
  • The Law of Assumption is meant to focus on assuming the mindset of end state, putting oneself in the mindset of already having or being what is desired, the focus should be on assuming the mindset of self-worth, good self concept, self care, and self respect rather than trying to control the actions of the other people.
  1. No Need for Occult Methods:
  • The process of healing and rediscovering self-worth does not require occult methods. It can involve introspection, healing, and reconnecting with one’s values and purpose. Occultism is a state of DISEMPOWERMENT. The exact opposite. Why would you need to go to a psychic if your assumption is that it is done?
  1. Striving for Self-Love through a Spiritual Lens:
  • See yourself through the eyes of God and recognize your inherent value, this is a powerful approach. you will see that God is NOT transactional, he doesn’t need your silly little spell. There is NO tit for tat in the Law of Assumption. It is DONE. AND you will experience the LOVE of God, this is BETTER than trying to BE God. Don’t knock it til you try it!
