The important secret of Kabbalah that Law Of Assumption FORGETS

The important secret of Kabbalah that Law Of Assumption FORGETS:

The big Kabbalah secret that often gets lost in the shuffle, especially in the world of Law of Assumption, is simple yet profound: You must be receptive.

The Receptive Mode & Abraham Hicks?

While Abraham Hicks talks a lot about the receptive mode, it’s something that Neville Goddard enthusiasts often shy away from, as it may sound too much like ‘woo-woo’ or ‘Law of Attraction’ jargon. But let me tell you, Law of Assumption takes a page straight out of Kabbalah’s playbook, and receptivity is an important aspect of Kabbah.

You are God’s vessel, he wants to pour blessings into you:

Think of it this way: Kabbalah teaches us about the importance of the ‘vessels’ – vessels for receiving blessings. We are vessels, for example. But we also create other vessels to receive for us, for example our job is one vessel to receive money. However, These ‘vessels’ can be anything that you have created – situations, opportunities, people, or simply your own mindset. You can have as many vessels as you want, and we do not know all of the vessels that exist. The key is not to limit yourself by anticipating exactly how these blessings will come to you; instead, be ready to receive in whatever form they may arrive.

Picture these ‘vessels’ as avenues to receive blessings. You don’t need to have the entire roadmap of how your blessings will reach you – you just need to believe that they can and will. Get ready by removing any ‘lids’ from your vessels – these lids prevent your blessings from entering in, lids can be your doubts, fears, or limiting beliefs. Being receptive means embracing a mindset of sensitivity, cheerfulness, and most of all, a sense of gratitude for what you already have.

Arrogance and ego is a lid blocking your vessels

An attitude of humility opens your vessels wide. A giant ego can act like a tight-fitting lid on your vessel, hindering the flow of blessings. Fear, on the other hand, is like turning your vessels upside down and spilling out the goodness you already possess. A Big Ego is NOT receptive mode. It si NOT Law of Assumption mode. Do you want to experience something greater? Remove your ego, and humble yourself, expect something greater than you could have imagined. You are NOT the giver here, you are the…..receiver of blessings.

Gratitude & Humility opens your vessels

To be truly receptive is to understand that the Creator of the universe desires nothing more than to shower you with abundant blessings. It’s about suspending your doership, your own belief in the actions of self, stepping aside, and making room for the divine to flow through. In this state of openness and receptivity, you’ll find that blessings pour in from every direction.

There Are No Circumstances!

Are you manifesting your desires? Are your circumstances showing up oppisite?

If you are trying to overcome challenges, or struggling to ignore circumstances, here are two core principles to remember:

  • Awareness of Being
Your awareness of being—the essence of your existence—is tied to holding onto God above all. Embrace the understanding of “I am that I am,” emphasizing your connection to the divine. THIS has to be primary for you. Hold on tighter to your “I am” than you do to anything else. Feeling is the secret, not the “thing”. JUST the feeling.
  • Letting Go and Manifesting
There isn’t a problem you need to fix. Instead, focus on fixing your thinking. Understanding the art of letting go and releasing the need for control is key. Let go and let God take the lead—this is the core of manifesting desires. The problem is already solved, so why are you trying to fix it?

Nothing about vibration or attracting, this awarenss of being, is the only thing that matters. Go there and hold on to that. Let go of the problem and hold on to The Feeling.

Reflection Questions

What was your #1 takeaway from the post?

Why is it important that you hold on tighter to your I am than to anything else?

Knowing that your problems have already been solved, and your circumstances have already been defeated, how does that change how you approach obstacles?

What is The Law of Assumption?

Understanding the Law of Assumption

The Law of Assumption revolves around manifesting desires by assuming you already possess them. It advocates creating your reality by feeling as if your wishes have already come true. This internal shift influences your external reality, demonstrating the power of assumption. Nothing could be easier than this method.

Effortless Assumption: Embodying Your Desires

The beauty of the Law of Assumption lies in its ability to effortlessly attract your desires. Rather than chasing what you want, assuming the feeling that your desire is already realized allows the universe to smoothly manifest it in your life. Embrace this approach to welcome your desired reality with ease.

The Law of Assumption: Akin to Method Acting

Much like Method Acting used by performers to portray characters authentically, the Law of Assumption requires immersing yourself in the feeling of your desire’s reality. Just as an actor fully embodies a character, assume the state of mind and emotions of your desire, believing it’s already a part of your reality. This approach bridges imagination and belief to manifest your desires.

Origin and Foundation of the Law of Assumption

The teachings of Neville Lancelot Goddard, an American philosopher, form the bedrock of the Law of Assumption. Goddard emphasized the influence of ssumptions and imagination on shaping our reality. Central to his teachings is the subconscious mind’s role in manifesting desires, emphasizing that assuming the feeling of having our desires already impresses the subconscious mind, paving the way for their physical manifestation. The subconsious mind is constantly causeing assumptions, hence the name: The Law of Assumption.

Understanding the Distinction Between the Law of Assumption and the Law of Attraction

The Law of Assumption and the Law of Attraction are both methods meant for manifesting desires and shaping our lives, are often discussed together. They are not the same. Although they share common ground, they differ in fundamental ways.

The Law of Attraction: Magnetizing Desires Through Thoughts and Emotions

The Law of Attraction centers on the belief that our thoughts and emotions possess a magnetic force, attracting corresponding experiences into our lives. Positivity is a core principle of the law of attra ction, as is “vibration”.

The Law of Assumption: Embodying Desired Reality Through Belief and Action

In contrast, the Law of Assumption extends this principle further. It proposes that assuming we already possess exactly what we desire empowers us to create our reality. This means that there is nothing to attract, because you have it. And just like when you actually DO have that thing, you have good days and bad days, you can skip the positivity and the vibration too! Rather than vibrations and attracting, your work is to imagining and feel the reality you wish to bring forth .

Be Bleesed! Here are 10 affirmations just because:

  • I am capable of manifesting the life of my dreams.
  • My imagination is a powerful tool for creating my reality.
  • I trust in the power of the Law of Assumption to bring my desires to life.
  • I am worthy of all the good things in life.
  • I attract positive experiences into my life with ease.
  • I am filled with joy and abundance.
  • I release all negative thoughts and beliefs that do not serve me.
  • I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
  • I am constantly expanding and growing in all areas of my life.
  • My thoughts and emotions create my reality.

Revision: Neville Goddard’s Approach

Revision: Neville Goddard’s Approach

Neville Goddard’s technique of revision offers a practical way to reframe, forgive, forget or heal past events and promote a new vision for ourselves. Envision and imagine, a different starting point, by revision.

A Trauma Healing Revision Meditation

A Practical Overview

Revision allows us to revisit past events and modify them to match our desired outcomes. It’s about choosing the emotional and mental responses we want to carry forward, similar to editing a story to have a happier ending.

“If, for instance, you had gone to an interview for a job you truly wanted but later learned that someone else was hired, you can revise that news to make it conform to what you wish you had heard.”

– Neville Goddard

How to Use Revision

  1. Identify a Situation: NOTICE what you are imagining / thinking. Either about a past event or something that is happing right now, that has left you with negative feelings.
  2. Relive / Revise the Event: Take a moment to name and distance yourself from the thoughts and feelings, and mentally revisit the event, but as an observer. Push the event or thoughts away (imagine them pushed away from you)
  3. Rewrite the Script: Picture the event unfolding in a way that aligns perfectly with your desires. See and feel the joy, success, or positive emotions , give vivid colors, and bring this close to you (See it come towards you). Identify with this.
  4. Embed the New Memory: Practice this revised version more than once, run it through a few times in your mind. Allow the positive emotions associated with the new version to become a part of you.

Practical Example

Let’s say you had a job interview that didn’t go well, leaving you feeling discouraged. With revision, you can replay the interview in your mind, but this time, visualize confidently answering each question. Picture the interviewers impressed with your responses, and feel the confidence within you growing. (A typical Neville example, career and promotions were some of his most comon stories, but you can apply it towards anything you like)

Why would you EVEN bother with this?

By embracing revision, we take charge of your narrative, otherwise your limbic systems survival brain leads your narrative without your consent.

“If you react by feeling depressed or assume any other negative attitude, you will then experience the same type of rejection in the future.”

-Neville Goddard

We revise our past (or present) to create a new neural pathway, and to reinforce the frontal lobe connetion to our CHOSEN narratives.

When we engage in revision, we’re not altering the actual events of the past, but rather transforming our interpretation and emotional response to those events. You change your REACTION to the past. This, in turn, affects how we perceive and act in the present moment, which is the appointed hour. Now is where we have the power to shape our thoughts, emotions, and our reality.

What should you expect from your revision?

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control”

– Galatians

If it is not a changed past, then what should you expect? There is a saying, “The proof is in the pudding”, or as it is phrased in the Bible: “By their fruits shall you know them”:

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 7:15-20

In our case, it is our thoughts that are “the fasle prohpets“, the thoughts come to us, appearing as truth. The fruits of those thoughts are the fruits of fear, victimhood, anger or insecurity etc. So know that your revision is complete when your thoughts become those of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Imagine that the negativity was cut down and thrown into the fire, and can no longer produce its bad fruit, the fruits of fear, victimhood, anger or insecurity. With this tree cut down, your tree of good fruit grows, and develops. This opens your eyes to goodnes, opportunities, strenghts and joy.

Mental Health and the Law of Assumption: A Delicate Balance

The delicate balance between addressing mental health conditions like OCD, anxiety, and delusions while navigating the Law of Assumption/Attraction with care and mindfulness:

Mental Health and the Law of Assumption: A Delicate Balance

Mental health conditions, such as OCD, deep anxiety, obsession, phobias and delusions, can present profound challenges in daily life. The intricate nature of these conditions often leads individuals to seek various avenues for relief and healing. One such path is the Law of Assumption (or Attraction.) Manifesting desires by assuming their fulfillment seems like an easy way out of the painful intrusive thoughts, but in reality it can cause even more pain and confusion for some. While a powerful tool, its application in the realm of mental health requires delicate consideration and understanding.

The Human Nature to Avoid Accountability

As humans, it is innate to seek ways to alleviate our fears and anxieties. The Law of Assumption/Attraction offers an attractive prospect by allowing us to manifest positive outcomes, circumventing our fears and worries. However, for individuals grappling with conditions like OCD and anxiety, it’s crucial to tread carefully. The desire to escape the clutches of their condition can inadvertently lead to bypassing the necessary steps towards healing and understanding.

The Path to Healing: Understanding Mental Health Conditions

The journey towards healing mental health conditions begins with acknowledgment and acceptance. Mostly self-acceptance, which is something that I have talked a lot about in my podcast. Weekly therapy appointments using methods such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Therapy and Dialectical Behavior (CBT)T or medication if prescribed, and participation in support groups offer essential foundations. These actions create a safety net, providing individuals with tools to understand their condition and cope effectively. Without this foundation, LAO may just be another delusion or obsession, creating worsening symptoms.

The Role of Law of Assumption/Attraction

Law of Assumption/Attraction, when introduced into the healing journey, should be approached with caution. Initially, it’s vital to maintain a lighthearted approach to manifesting desires. Overwhelming or intense manifestation attempts can inadvertently trigger anxiety and exacerbate the mental health condition. Individuals with OCD, especially, tend to approach LOA as a life or death situation. This is counterproductive.

The Importance of Light-hearted Manifestation

Choosing a light-hearted approach to manifestation involves infusing positivity, playfulness, and gentleness into the process. The focus should be on joy, gratitude, and hopeful anticipation, keeping manifestations within a comforting, safe space.

Avoiding Spiritual Bypassing

One must guard against spiritual bypassing, a tendency to use spiritual beliefs and practices to bypass or avoid facing the true depths of their mental health condition. A premature leap into intense manifesting can inadvertently become an escape from dealing with the underlying fears and anxieties.

Finding the Right Balance

The key lies in striking the right balance. Begin by focusing on understanding and managing the mental health condition effectively. Once a stable and well-maintained state is achieved, gentle exploration of the Law of Assumption/Attraction can take place.

Breaking the Cycle of Self-Imposed Pain

Awareness of the dual nature of manifestation allows us to break free from patterns that cause self-inflicted pain.

Closing Thoughts

This post has been created with the observation that just as many individuals cause themselves pain, as pleasure, using the Law of Assumption. Until an awareness of compulsions, phobias, delusions or intrusive thoughts has been established, LOA tends to be a roller coaster ride of emotional ups and downs. Understanding and addressing mental health conditions is a journey that demands patience, compassion, and self-awareness. The Law of Assumption/Attraction IS s transformative tool, when approached mindfully and in harmony with the individual’s mental well-being. Remember to always aim for a lighthearted manifestation approach, and to avoiding spiritual bypassing.

Understanding the Law of Assumption “I can be what I will to be.”

Understanding the Law of Assumption “I can be what I will to be.”

1. The Essence Behind “I”

The “I” within us isn’t limited to our physical body or mind; it’s the driving force that directs our actions and decisions. Understanding this “I” unlocks a new level of power.

2. Directing Body and Mind

The “I” must control both our body and mind, guiding their actions and choices. When we grasp this, a newfound sense of power emerges, transforming our lives.

3. True Self

Our personality is a collection of habits and traits, shaped by past thinking. But it doesn’t define the authentic “I” that lies within us.

4. The Spiritual “I” in Action

Saying “I think” or “I go” is our way of tapping into the essence of the spiritual “I.” This spiritual force is the wellspring of true power, awaiting recognition.

5. The Power to Think

The greatest gift of the “I” is the power to think. However, few master constructive thinking, or correctly, consequently they achieve only indifferent results. Most people allow their thoughts to dwell on selfish purposes, the inevitable result of an infantile mind. When a mind becomes mature, it understands that the germ of defeat is in every selfish thought.

6. The Wisdom of the Trained Mind

A mature mind understands that transactions should benefit all parties involved. Profiting from others’ vulnerabilities only leads to downfall.

7. Unity in Diversity

Recognizing that each individual is part of a greater whole enhances our advantage in life. By embracing this principle, we focus on what truly matters. This is because a part cannot antagonize any other part, but, on the contrary, the welfare of each part depends upon a recognition of the interests of the whole.

8. The Advantage of the Mindful

Those who grasp this principle thrive—they conserve energy, concentrate effectively, and invest themselves where it matters most.

9. Effort and Realization

Achievement requires genuine effort. f you cannot do these things it is because you have thus far not made the necessary effort. Now is the time to make the effort. The result will be exactly in proportion to the effort expended To strengthen your will and accomplish your goals, use the affirmation “I can be what I will to be.”

10. The Power of Continuous Affirmation

Repeating the affirmation, realizing the essence of the “I,” and aligning with constructive goals makes you unbeatable, harmonizing with the universe’s creative energy.

11. Making Affirmation a Habit

For lasting change, infuse the affirmation into your daily routine until it becomes an inherent part of you. Commitment is key to success. “I can be what I will to be.”

12. Commitment and the Die Cast

Commitment is crucial. Once you set your mind on a goal, remain steadfast, unyielding to obstacles or distractions. The die is cast; there’s no debate.

13. Mastering Self-Control

Begin with small goals, gradually gaining self-mastery. Remember, controlling oneself often proves harder than controlling external circumstances. Psychology tells us that when we start something and do not complete it, or make a resolution and do not keep it, we are forming the habit of failure. If you do not intend to do a thing, do not start; if you do start, see it through even if the heavens fall; if you make up your mind to do something, do it

14. The “World Within”

Self-control opens the door to the “World Within,” shaping the external world. You become a creator, influencing your reality effortlessly. You will have found the “World Within” which controls the world without; you will have become irresistible; men and things will respond to your every wish without any apparent effort on your part

15. The Inner Connection

Recognize that the “World Within” is connected to the universal energy, an idea accepted by both science and religion. This connection holds incredible creative power.

16. Power in the Present

This inner power is your key to success. The energy is within you; utilize it through positive actions and thoughts.

17. The Vitality of Service

Power is found in service, in giving back. By becoming a channel for universal energy, you not only receive but also positively impact the world.

18. Quietude and Connectivity

Stop obsessing over plans and allow silence to reign. Connect with the boundless potential within you, accessing a universe of possibilities. Dwell in the consciousness of your unity with Omnipotence. “Still water runs deep”; contemplate the multitudinous opportunities to which you have spiritual access by the Omnipresence of power. Be still and know.

19. Visualizing and Creating

Visualize the outcomes your spiritual connections can bring about. Realize that all things possess a spiritual essence; when that essence is gone, so is life. Realize the fact that the essence and soul of all things is spiritual and that the spiritual is the real, because it is the life of all there is; when the spirit is gone, the life is gone; it is dead; it has ceased to exist.

20. The Creative Process

Your mental activities create the world around you. By understanding this cause-and-effect relationship, you become a conscious creator of your reality.

21. Cultivating Mental Strength

Just as physical strength requires exercise, mental strength is developed through practice. Repeated thoughts become habits that shape your reality.

22. From Physical Relaxation to Mental Freedom

After mastering physical relaxation, the next step is mental freedom. Let go of negative emotions by consciously deciding to release them and persistently doing so. Over-work or over-play or over-bodily activity of any kind produces conditions of mental apathy and stagnation which makes it impossible to do the more important work which results in a realization of conscious power.

23. Intellect Over Emotion

Allow your intellect, not emotions, to guide you. While it might be challenging initially, practice leads to mastery, enhancing control over your thoughts. Thought is a mode of motion and is carried by the law of vibration the same as light or electricity. It is given vitality by the emotions through the law of love; it takes form and expression by the law of growth; it is a product of the spiritual “I,” hence its Divine, spiritual, and creative nature.

24. Shaping Reality Through Thought

Your thoughts are the architects of your reality. in order to express power, abundance or any other constructive purpose, the emotions must be called upon to give feeling to the thought so that it will take form.

Inner Conversations Manifest YOUR Reality – A Neville Goddard Chapter that will change your life!

Inner Conversations Manifest YOUR Reality – A Neville Goddard Chapter that will change your life!

Chapter Five – Awakened Imagination And The Search

THE COIN OF HEAVEN

“Does a firm persuasion that a thing is so, make it so?”

And the prophet replied, “All poets believe that it does. And in ages of imagination, this firm persuasion removed mountains: but many are not capable of a firm persuasion of anything.”

Blake, Marriage of Heaven and Hell

Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

– Romans 14:5

PERSUASION IS an inner effort of intense attention. To listen attentively as though you heard is to evoke, to activate. By listening, you can hear what you want to hear and persuade those beyond the range of the outer ear. Speak it inwardly in your imagination only. Make your inner conversation match your fulfilled desire. What you desire to hear without, you must hear within.

Embrace the without within and become one who hears only that which implies the fulfillment of his desire, and all the external happenings in the world will become a bridge leading to the objective realization of your desire. Your inner speech is perpetually written all around you in happenings.

Learn to relate these happenings to your inner speech and you will become self-taught. By inner speech is meant those mental conversations which you carry on with yourself. They may be inaudible when you are awake because of the noise and distractions of the outer world of becoming, but they are quite audible in deep meditation and dream. But whether they be audible or inaudible, you are their author and fashion your world in their likeness.

There is a God in heaven [and heaven is within you] that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these. Daniel 2:28

Inner speech from premises of fulfilled desire is the way to create an intelligible world for yourself. Observe your inner speech for it is the cause of future action. Inner speech reveals the state of consciousness from which you view the world.

Make your inner speech match your fulfilled desire, for your inner speech is manifested all around you in happenings.

If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven by fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! -James 3:2-5

The whole manifested world goes to show us what use we have made of the Word – Inner Speech. An uncritical observation of our inner talking will reveal to us the ideas from which we view the world. Inner talking mirrors our imagination, and our imagination mirrors the state with which it is fused. If the state with which we are fused is the cause of the phenomenon of our life, then we are relieved of the burden of wondering what to do, for we have no alternative but to identify ourselves with our aim, and inasmuch as the state with which we are identified mirrors itself in our inner speech, then to change the state with which we are fused, we must first change our inner talking. It is our inner conversations which make tomorrow’s facts.

Put off the former conversation, the old man, which is corrupt…

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind… put on the new man, which is created in righteousness.

-Ephesians 4:22-24

Our minds, like our stomachs, are whetted by change of food. -Quintillian

Stop all of the old mechanical negative inner talking and start a new positive and constructive inner speech from premises of fulfilled desire. Inner talking is the beginning, the sowing of the seeds of future action. To determine the action, you must consciously initiate and control your inner talking.

Construct a sentence which implies the fulfillment of your aim, such as “I have a large, steady, dependable income, consistent with integrity and mutual benefit”, or “I am happily married”, “I am wanted”, “I am contributing to the good of the world”, and repeat such a sentence over and over until you are inwardly affected by it. Our inner speech represents in various ways the world we live in.

In the beginning was the Word. -John 1:1

That which ye sow ye reap. See yonder fields! The sesamum was sesamum, the corn was corn. The Silence and the Darkness knew! So is a man’s fate born.

-The Light of Asia, Edwin Arnold

Ends run true to origins!

Those that go searching for love only make manifest their own lovelessness. And the loveless never find love, only the loving find love, and they never have to seek for it.  -D. H. Lawrence

Man attracts what he is. The art of life is to sustain the feeling of the wish fulfilled and let things come to you, not to go after them or think they flee away.

Observe your inner talking and remember your aim.

Do they match?

Does your inner talking match what you would say audibly had you achieved your goal?

The individual’s inner speech and actions attract the conditions of his life. Through uncritical self-observation of your inner talking you find where you are in the inner world, and where you are in the inner world is what you are in the outer world.

You put on the new man whenever ideals and inner speech match. In this way alone can the new man be born. Inner talking matures in the dark. From the dark it issues into the light. The right inner speech is the speech that would be yours were you to realize your ideal. In other words, it is the speech of fulfilled desire.

I am that. -Exodus 3:14.

There are two gifts which God has bestowed upon man alone, and on no other mortal creature.

These two are mind and speech; and the gift of mind and speech is equivalent to that of immortality. If a man uses these two gifts rightly, he will differ in nothing from the immortals… and when he quits the body, mind and speech will be his guides, and by them he will be brought into the troop of the gods and the souls that have attained to bliss.

– Hermetica, Walter Scott’s translation

The circumstances and conditions of life are out-pictured inner talking, solidified sound. Inner speech calls events into existence. In every event is the creative sound that is its life and being.

All that a man believes and consents to as true reveals itself in his inner speech. It is his Word, his life.

Try to notice what you are saying in yourself at this moment, to what thoughts and feelings you are consenting. They will be perfectly woven into your tapestry of life. To change your life, you must change your inner talking, for “life”, said Hermes, “is the union of Word and Mind”.

When imagination matches your inner speech to fulfilled desire, there will then be a straight path in yourself from within out, and the without will instantly reflect the within for you, and you will know reality is only actualized inner talking.

Receive with meekness the inborn Word which is able to save your souls.

– James 1:21

Every stage of man’s progress is made by the conscious exercise of his imagination matching his inner speech to his fulfilled desire. Because man does not perfectly match them, the results are uncertain, while they might be perfectly certain. Persistent assumption of the wish fulfilled is the means of fulfilling the intention. As we control our inner talking, matching it to our fulfilled desires, we can lay aside all other processes. Then we simply act by clear imagination and intention. We imagine the wish fulfilled and carry on mental conversations from that premise. Through controlled inner talking from premises of fulfilled desire, seeming miracles are performed. The future becomes the present and reveals itself in our inner speech.

To be held by the inner speech of fulfilled desire is to be safely anchored in life.

Our lives may seem to be broken by events, but they are never broken so long as we retain the inner speech of fulfilled desire.

All happiness depends on the active voluntary use of imagination to construct and inwardly affirm that we are what we want to be. We match ourselves to our ideals by constantly remembering our aim and identifying ourselves with it. We fuse with our aims by frequently occupying the feeling of our wish fulfilled. It is the frequency, the habitual occupancy, that is the secret of success. The oftener we do it, the more natural it is. Fancy assembles. Continuous imagination fuses It is possible to resolve every situation by the proper use of imagination.

Our task is to get the right sentence, the one which implies that our desire is realized, and fire the imagination with it. All this is intimately connected with the mystery of “the still small voice”. Inner talking reveals the activities of imagination, activities which are the causes of the circumstances of life.

As a rule, man is totally unaware of his inner talking and therefore sees himself not as the cause but the victim of circumstance. To consciously create circumstance, man must consciously direct his inner speech, matching “the still small voice” to his fulfilled desires.

He calls things not seen as though they were.

-Romans 4:17

Right inner speech is essential. It is the greatest of the arts. It is the way out of limitation into freedom. Ignorance of this art has made the world a battlefield and penitentiary where blood and sweat alone are expected, when it should be a place of marveling and wondering. Right inner talking is the first step to becoming what you want to be. Speech is an image of mind, and mind is an image of God.

-Hermetica, Scott translation

On the morning of April 12, 1953, my wife was awakened by the sound of a great voice of authority speaking within her and saying, “You must stop spending your thoughts, time, and money. Everything in life must be an investment.

” To spend is to waste, to squander, to layout without return. To invest is to layout for a purpose from which a profit is expected. This revelation of my wife is about the importance of the moment. It is about the transformation of the moment. What we desire does not lie in the future but in ourselves at this very moment.

At any moment in our lives, we are faced with an infinite choice: “what we are and what we want to be”. And what we want to be is already existent, but to realize it we must match our inner speech and actions to it.

If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.

-Matthew 18:19

It is only what is done now that counts. The present moment does not recede into the past. It advances into the future to confront us, spent or invested. Thought is the coin of heaven. Money is its earthly symbol. Every moment must be invested, and our inner talking reveals whether we are spending or investing.

Be more interested in what you are inwardly “saying now” than what you “have said” by choosing wisely what you think and what you feel now. Any time we feel misunderstood, misused, neglected, suspicious, afraid, we are spending our thoughts and wasting our time. Whenever we assume the feeling of being what we want to be, we are investing.

We cannot abandon the moment to negative inner talking and expect to retain command of life. Before us go the results of all that seemingly is behind. Not gone is the last moment – but oncoming.

My word shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  -Isaiah 55:11

The circumstances of life are the muffled utterances of the inner talking that made them – the word made visible.

“The Word”, said Hermes, “is Son, and the Mind is Father of the Word. They are not separate one from the other; for life is the union of Word and Mind.”

He willed us forth from Himself by the Word of Truth.  -James 1:18

Let us be imitators of God as dear children,  -Ephesians 5:1,

and use our inner speech wisely to mould an outer world in harmony with our ideal. The Lord spake by me, and His Word was in my tongue.  -2 Samuel 23:2

The mouth of God is the mind of man. Feed God only the best.

Whatsoever things are of good report… think on these things.

-Philippians 4:8

The present moment is always precisely right for an investment, to inwardly speak the right word.

The word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you this day life and good, death and evil, blessings and cursings. Choose life.  -Deuteronomy 30:14,15,19

You choose life and good and blessings by being that which you choose. Like is known to like alone. Make your inner speech bless and give good reports. Man’s ignorance of the future is the result of his ignorance of his inner talking. His inner talking mirrors his imagination, and his imagination is a government in which the opposition never comes into power.

If the reader ask, “What if the inner speech remains subjective and is unable to find an object for its love?”, the answer is: it will not remain subjective, for the very simple reason that inner speech is always objectifying itself.

What frustrates and festers and becomes the disease that afflicts humanity is man’s ignorance of the art of matching inner words to fulfilled desire. Inner speech mirrors imagination, and imagination is Christ.

Alter your inner speech, and your perceptual world changes. Whenever inner speech and desire are in conflict, inner speech invariably wins. Because inner speech objectifies itself, it is easy to see that if it matches desire, desire will be objectively realized. Were this not so, I would say with Blake, Sooner murder an infant in its cradle than nurse unacted desires. But I know from experience,

The tongue… setteth on fire the course of nature.

GOD UNVEILS HIS IMAGE IN FOUR ACTS by NEVILLE GODDARD

He Breaks The Shell

GOD UNVEILS HIS IMAGE IN FOUR ACTS

A Short Book By Neville Goddard | 1964

Act 1

Teach me, O Holy Spirit, the Testimony of Jesus! let me Comprehend wondrous things out of the Divine Law!
Blake: Jerusalem Pl. 74.

I am but a fellow-servant with you and your brothers who bear their testimony to Jesus.
Rev. 19:10

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me
Matt. 11:29

“The yoke of the law” is a common rabbinical expression for the study of the scriptures. “Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead” (Rev. 1:5) proposes an exchange of the Scriptures based on his own personal experience for others based purely on speculation.

HE BREAKS THE SHELL

It is very difficult for man to change his understanding of the meaning of an event, once old accepted interpretations have become rigidly fixed in is mind. But the four acts of God which veil his “Image” (“Let us make man in our image” – Gen. 1:26) appear in a quite different light in prospect from what they really are seen to be in retrospect.

The Resurrection is God’s first act in the unveiling of his “Image.” It is fulfilled in a way man could never have guessed, by an awakening in his skull, not at the end of his history, but within his history. Resurrection is an event happening within the earthly life of man. Our human life has its significance only and always in relation to our resurrection. The man so awakened is “declared Son of God by a mighty act in that he rose from the dead; it is about Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 1:4).

Participation in the life of the age to come depends on God’s act of awakening the dead.

We are resurrected one by one to unite into a single Man, who is God:

And the Lord will become king over all the earth: on that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
(Zec. 14:9)

Resurrection is an individual experience, an awakening in one’s own skull, followed instantly by a supernatural birth from his skull, a privileged birth in a new creation. This is effected by the grace of God alone; and only of such an awakening does the New Testament use the term “the resurrection.” All other men apart from the resurrected are, at death, restored to life only to die again.

There came to him some Sadducees, those who say that there is no resurrection, and they asked him a question, saying, Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife but no children, the man must take the wife and raise up children for his brother. Now there were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and died without children; and the second and the third took her, and likewise all seven left no children and died. Afterward the woman also died. In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will the woman be? For the seven had her as wife. And Jesus said to them, The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage; but those who are accounted worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, for they cannot die any more, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.”
(Luke 20: 27-36)

He hath awakened from the dream of life ‘Tis we, who lost in stormy visions, keep With phantoms an unprofitable strife.
Shelley

God’s purpose lies not in evolving the natural order but in awakening his sons associated with it.

For the created universe waits with eager expectation for God’s sons to be revealed.
(Rom. 8:19)

Do not suppose that I have come to abolish the Law and the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to complete. I tell you this: so long as heaven and earth endure, not a letter, not a stroke will disappear from the Law until all that must happen has happened.
(Matt. 5: 17-18)

My task is to bear witness to the truth. For this was I born; for this I came into the world, and all who are not deaf to truth listen to my voice.
(John 18 37-38)

I was dead and now I am alive for evermore.
(Rev. 1:18)

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born from the dead.
(Rev. 1:5)

The testimony of Jesus should be heard and responded to. Some will be convinced by what he says, while others will disbelieve. The testimony of Jesus cannot be induced at will. It is the unveiling of God’s Image. This sudden and completely unexpected awakening in one’s skull, to find it to be a sepulcher in which you had been entombed, is bewildering and perplexing.

The Resurrection is God’s first act in the unveiling of is primal wish, “let us make man in our image” (Gen. 1:26).

The one who started the good work in you will bring it to completion by the Day of Jesus Christ.
(Phil. 1:6)

Jesus Christ is “the image of the invisible God” (Col. 1:15). God’s work in you is completed, when “you take the shape of Christ” (Gal. 4:19). Then you will be awakened and raised from the dead.

The first act by which God unveils “the Son who is the effulgence of God’s splendour and the stamp of God’s very being” (Heb. 1:3) is a double act. It awakens the sleeper and brings him forth from his skull: Born anew.

Awake, sleeper,
Rise from the dead,
And Christ will shine upon you.
Ephesians 5:14

He is “born anew … through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and to an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for him” (I Peter 1: 3-4).

The “new birth” follows “the resurrection.”

Flesh can give birth only to flesh; it is spirit that gives birth to spirit. You ought not to be astonished, then, when I tell you that you must be born over again. The wind blows where it will; you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from, or where it is going. So with everyone who is born from spirit.
(John 3: 6-8)

Man awakens within his skull to discover that he is entombed within it. Intuitively he knows that if he pushes the base of the skull an opening will be made and he will emerge. He pushes the base, finds an opening and comes out the head first in the same manner a child is born. As he contemplates the skull out of which he has just emerged, suddenly there comes a sound like that of a strong driving wind which fills the whole room; he hears the sound of it, but he does not know ‘where it comes from or where it is going.’ His attention is diverted for a moment from the body out of which he has just emerged by the sound of the wind. When looking back to the body he is surprised to find that it has been removed and in its place sit three men; one sits where the head was and two sit where the feet were.

They, too, hear the sound of the mighty win but do not know “where it comes from or where it is going.” They do not see the man who is born from his skull but they find the sign of his birth; a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes lying on the floor.

Today in the city of David a deliverer has been born to you – the Messiah, the Lord. And this is your sign; you will find a baby lying all wrapped up, in a manger.
(Luke 2: 11-12)

They find the sign of his birth but not the twice-born man, for he is now “declared Son of God by a mighty act in that he rose from the dead.” (Rom. 1-4).

My Father and I are one.
(John 10:30).

2nd Act

The second mighty act unveils the mystery of the fatherhood and Brotherhood of Man. Man finds David of Biblical fame and discovers that David’s nature and mission are spiritual, not physical or historical.

I have found David…. He shall cry for me, Thou are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.
(Ps. 89:20, 26)

You’re my son, today I have begotten you.
(Ps 2:7)

No one knows who the Son is but the Father, or who the Father is but the Son, and those to whom the Son may choose to reveal him.
(Luke 10:22)

He said to them, How can they say that the Messiah is son of David? For David himself … calls him “Lord”: how then can he be David’s son?
(Luke 20: 41-44)

David in the spirit calls him “my Father”. When the “Messiah”, “the image of the invisible God,” is formed in man, that man will find David and David will call him Father.

Eventually, all men will say to David “You are my son, today I have begotten you” (Ps. 2:7), and all will know Fatherhood and Brotherhood of Man.

Philip said to him ‘Lord, show us the Father and we ask no more.’ Jesus answered, Have I been all this time with you, Philip, and you still do not know me? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. Then how can you say, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?
(John 14: 8-10)

Act 3

The third mighty act unveils God’s Image is of two-fold nature.

You are God’s temple and God’s spirit dwells in you.
(1 Cor. 3:16)

And the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom
(Mark 15: 38)

So now, my friends, the blood of Jesus makes us free to enter boldly into the sanctuary by the new, living way which he has opened for us through the curtain, the way of his flesh.
(Heb. 10: 19-20)

A bolt of lightning splits man in two from the top of his skull to the base of his spine. He is cleft as though he were a tree that had been struck by lightening. at the base of his severed body he sees “the blood of Jesus”, a pool of molten gold; he knows it is himself; then fusing with “the blood of Jesus” he ascends his severed spine in a serpentine motion into his skull. This is to fulfill the Scripture:

This Son of Man must be lifted up as the serpent was lifted up by Moses in the wilderness.
(John 3:14)

Act 4

The fourth and final act is an expression of God’s satisfaction with his work.

And God saw everything that had made, and behold, it was very good.
(Gen. 1:31)

Man’s skull suddenly becomes translucent. Hovering above him, as though floating, there is a dove with its eyes focused lovingly on him.

And behold, the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him and lo, a voice from heaven saying, ‘This is my son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased’.
(Matt. 3:16-17)

The dove descends upon him and smothers him with love, kissing his face, his head, his neck. These four mighty acts though separated in time by approximately three and a half years are all parts of a single complex.

There is conferred upon the risen Christ- in these four mystical and supernatural experiences of man- the divine names of Jesus, Father, Son of Man, Son of God.

Conclusion

The Resurrection is a unique personal experience; it is by definition the resurrection of the Christ. Though the resurrection itself is nowhere described in Scriptures it represents the central point of the Christian faith. It marks the division between this age and that age in which even the law of death is broken -where one does not die any more, where all are equal to angels, sons no longer of this world but of that world, of God and of the resurrection: it is a new creation.

To become someone else is to extinguish one’s self – in effect to die. It is in this sense that God died for man.

He was in the form of God … but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in the likeness of men.(Phil. 2: 6-7).

God became man that man may become God.

I lay down my life, to receive it back again. No one has robbed me of it; I am laying it down of my own free will. I have the right to lay it down, and I have the right to receive it back again.

(John 10: 17-18)

After the Resurrection, man reads back into the ancient Scriptures intimations and foreshadowings of the truth as he experienced it.

In the role of the book it is written of me.

(Ps. 40:7)

Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?

(2 Cor. 13:5)

Christ could not “emerge” from the man in whom he did not exist.

They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him … for as yet they did not know (i.e. understand) the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

(John 20: 2, 9)

One of the men at the tomb found “The Babe”, the sign of the supernatural birth “but him they did not see” (Luke 24:24), the man who was supernaturally born. He is risen! he is born anew he said:

but these words seemed to the others an idle tale, and they did not believe them.

(Luke 24: 11)

To be raised is to “bear the image of the man of heaven” (1 Cor. 15:49). There is no loss of identity but there is a radical discontinuity of form.

He will change our lowly body to be like (lit. of one form with) his glorious body

(Phil. 3:20-21)

God’s primal wish “Let us make man in our image” is maturing to its appointed hour. And,

It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority.

(Acts 1:7)

The vision has its own appointed hour;

it ripens, it will flower;

if it be long, then wait,

for it is sure, and it will not be late.

(Habakkuk 2:3)

Israel’s sacred history, as it is recorded in the Old Testament, is a completely prophetic history which God brings to climax and fulfillment in Jesus Christ in you.

The Lords of hosts has sworn:

As I have planned,

so shall it be,

and as I have purposed,

so shall it stand.

(Isaiah 14:24)

The promises of God, so long cherished as buds upon the tree of his unfolding purpose, will burst into flower – in four mighty acts – in Christ in you. The full force of this truth may be missed because you are not conscious of any sudden break with the past. A new thing has happened. You are born anew.

Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of our religion.

(1 Timothy 3:16)

Everything written in the Scriptures about Jesus Christ is written about Man.

And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him

(Luke 23:33)

The “rock-hewn tomb, where no one had ever been laid.” (Luke 23:53) is the skull of man.

And

if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

(Rom. 6:5)

I have related my own experience that you may know the truth concerning the Christian mystery – the message of salvation as I myself have experienced it.

The Divine image is unveiled in this series of supernatural events which evoke the response of awe and wonder. Personal experience must seal the truth of Scripture.

God is buried in the skull of man. His name is I AM. He will awaken in the skull of man. He will emerge from the skull of mn and be born anew. God became man that man may become God.

Jesus Christ is the true identity of every man.

And now, go write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness for ever.

(Isaiah 30:8)

Toxicity and Gaslighting in the Law of Assumption Genre: Identifying Fake Gurus and Avoiding Cult-like Teachings

Toxicity and GASLIGHTING in the Law Of Assumption genre?

On this blog, you are encouraged to discover YOUR relationship with the God of YOUR understanding.

Nothing is MORE intimate, than developing this relationship, the relationship with self.

“I AM that I AM”

This is the core of the Law of Assumption, the core of Vedanta and all nondual teachings. The Law of Assumption is ALSO based on Kabbalah, as we can derive from the teachings in themselves, and also from the fact that Neville Goddard’s teacher Abdullah was a Rabbi.

Everyone of these teachings have a core goal of ONENESS and harmony. Studies of Kabbalah or Vedanta, or any nondual teachings, do not generally generate complaints. They are benign areas of study and have been for millennia, however there are groups where these teachings DO generate complaints, and that is the focus of todays article.

The goal of oneness is gradually discovered when nondual teachings are approached correctly, and ultimately, it is a relationship with self that develops and grows. Nurture THIS relationship, and your INNER PEACE, your never ending source connection.  What is this for you?  It depends, because everyone’s journey is different.  The destination of this journey is a profound love, sense of unity, and a comfort that GOD has been found. A destructive cult, or toxic teaching, however, will not lead you to that point of inner peace or self discovery, it will lead you astray, and often at a heavy cost.

The relationship or experience with your inner divine connection, is uniquely your own. To explore and experience the Law of Assumption for yourself you never have to change religion or give up your religion. Additionally, you do not have to ascribe to a religion at all, the teachings of the Law of Assumption can be approached without a religious or spiritual goal in mind, Law of assumption is only psychology, it is nothing more; however,  If you are merely seeking material gains or power and control over others, you might find that others try to do the same to you.

Everyone has something within that can be described as a connecting inner light with God, or the divine, or Godself. God within. Every single one of us, but it is up to everyone to discover this, and how we get there is up to ourselves.

This intimate journey, this discovery of God, continues through life, it deepens, just like a love relationship. You can deepen your connection every day, by going within, by praying, by chanting God’s name, by repeating mantras, by meditation, by walking in nature, by expressing gratitude for your life. Again, finding your path to inner peace is unique, and you are free to explore as many different paths as you like.

The more intimate your connection with your inner peace, the more in “alignment” you become. The more in alignment with self, the more in alignments you with the divine, the more commonplace miraculousness becomes. This miraculous is also a personal experience, and experience of reverence for the mundane. It is the difference of experience the same old thing but with a different mindset. The experience of watching the sunrise with awe, or not noticing the sunrise due to stress and busyness.

A normal life really should have more of the miraculous, and less suffering. But how do we get there safely? How do we get there, to this “positive thinking” state of mind without SELF-gaslighting? Without falling pray to those who promise everything, rob us of everything and leave us with nothing?

A cult can be a cult of one, or a cult of many, and in this blog I will give you some warning signs to look for, and strategies to avoid getting caught up in abuse.

Every moment is a perfect moment to turn within, and seek for inner guidance, love and connection. Find this connection by way of your own heart.

AVOID The Toxic approach to the Law Of Assumption:

1. Overemphasis on Personal Responsibility: In the Law of Assumption, there can be a tendency to place an overwhelming emphasis on personal responsibility and the idea that individuals are solely responsible for their life circumstances. While taking responsibility for one’s thoughts, speech and actions is essential, toxic teachings may push the narrative too far, suggesting that any negative outcome is solely the result of a person’s negative thoughts or lack of belief. Imagine that the world already existed the day you were born, you were merely born into it, you did not “manifest” you life circumstances, not did you manifest “your own reality or your own universe” on that day. It was already there.

2. Invalidating Negative Emotions: Gaslighting can occur when Law of Assumption teachings dismiss or invalidate negative emotions. Some toxic practitioners may promote the idea that feeling sad, angry, or anxious is a sign of weakness or lack of faith in manifestation. This can lead individuals to suppress their genuine emotions, causing emotional harm and denying the importance of processing and addressing real-life challenges. This is actually OPPOSITE to how to approach the Law Of Assumption. Toxic positivity is the assumption that “unless you suppress your “negative” emotions you can’t manifest your dreams” This is not true.

3. Cult-like Behavior and Guru Worship: In some cases, toxic elements within the Law of Assumption genre may lead to cult-like behavior and an unhealthy attachment to a specific guru or teacher. This can result in followers unquestioningly accepting everything the “guru” says, even if it contradicts their own intuition or experiences. Gaslighting may occur when followers are made to feel inadequate for questioning or challenging the teachings, fostering a toxic environment that discourages critical thinking and healthy skepticism. This behavior goes both ways. Sometimes a coach acts in a cult like way, and sometimes it is the followers who display cult-like behavior. This can be avoided by understanding energy structures (pendulums), and staying true to your own purpose.

It is crucial to approach the Law of Assumption and any self-help or spiritual teachings with discernment and a critical mind. Remember that healthy and authentic teachings will encourage personal growth, self-awareness, and emotional well-being while respecting the complexities of individual experiences and circumstances. If you encounter toxic elements that involve gaslighting or manipulation, it is best to disengage and seek support from reputable sources or mental health professionals.

Identifying a fake guru or narcissistic life coach can be challenging, but here are the top 10 signs to watch out for:

1. Obsession with Money: Fake gurus excessively focus on pricing plans and deals, making money their primary motivation.

2. Manipulative Behavior: They make you feel inadequate, morally inferior, and trap you in a cycle of dependency.

3. Empty Promises: They promise a grand end goal but keep it elusive, always claiming it’s just around the corner. Moving the goal post. Tiered memberships where the “secret” is revealed in an ever changing tier.

4. Ego-Centric: Fake gurus are all about themselves and their brand, often referring to themselves in the third person. Their coaching is about them.

5. Intolerance to Criticism: Genuine gurus embrace criticism and use it to grow, but fake gurus react defensively or attack critics.

6. Reckless Behavior: They engage in manipulative and reckless financial, sexual, and professional conduct. How many false Guru’s later end up with sexual abuse claims?

7. Weaponizing Vulnerability: Fake gurus use personal and private information shared by members against them, creating a toxic environment.

8. Isolation and Control: They may try to isolate followers from friends and family to gain greater control over their lives. This is dangerous territory, and a sign that you are in a cult. Get out fast and don’t look back.

9. Excessive Secrecy: They create an air of mystery, withholding essential information to maintain power over followers.

10. Exploitative Practices: Fake gurus may pressure followers into expensive programs or use guilt to extract donations.

Spotting a fake guru or life coach requires discernment and critical thinking. A genuine mentor focuses on the growth of their disciples, embraces humility, and practices what they preach. Always trust your instincts and do thorough research before committing to any spiritual or coaching journey.

Warning signs of a cult:

1. The leader is always right.

2. Criticism of the leader or questioning the leader is considered persecution.

3. Anything the leader does is justified, no matter how harmful it may be.

4. The leader is the only source of the truth, everybody else is lying.

5. Disciples must be devoted to the leader and never question him.

(Thee leader can also be a fictitious person, or a person from history)

Persuasion, manipulation, or gaslighting? Spot the difference:

Pay attention to the sales tactics, a teacher will also try to sell their product, and will engage in PERSUASION, but a real teacher or coach will not allege to be a Guru.

A coach who lacks credentials or credibility will probably engage in MANIPULATION.

A false Guru will be more sinister, and will engage in GASLIGHTING.

Persuasion, manipulation, and gaslighting are distinct forms of communication and psychological tactics, each with its own intentions and effects:

1. Persuasion:

Persuasion is the act of convincing or influencing someone to adopt a particular belief, attitude, or course of action. It is often based on logical reasoning, emotional appeals, and credible information. In ethical persuasion, the goal is to empower individuals to make informed decisions while respecting their autonomy. Persuasion is commonly used in marketing, sales, and everyday interactions to present information and encourage positive choices.

2. Manipulation:

Manipulation involves using deceptive or covert tactics to control or influence someone else’s behavior, emotions, or thoughts for personal gain. It often relies on exploiting vulnerabilities, emotional triggers, or power imbalances to achieve the manipulator’s objectives. Manipulative individuals may employ tactics such as guilt-tripping, emotional blackmail, or flattery to achieve their desired outcomes, without considering the well-being or consent of the person being manipulated.

3. Gaslighting:

Gaslighting is a specific form of psychological manipulation that seeks to undermine a person’s perception of reality and erode their sense of self-confidence. Gaslighters use lies, denial, and contradiction to make the victim doubt their memory, feelings, and sanity. Gaslighting is often employed in abusive relationships to gain control over the victim and maintain dominance.

In summary, persuasion aims to present information and arguments to influence someone’s decision in an honest and respectful manner.

Manipulation involves using deceitful tactics to control or influence others for personal gain.

Gaslighting specifically seeks to undermine a person’s reality and self-perception to maintain control over them. Understanding these differences can help individuals recognize and protect themselves from potentially harmful influences.

The Real Guru?

Is there such a thing?

The Real Guru:

Finding a genuine guru is a sacred and profound journey that requires genuine seeking and sincere yearning for spiritual growth. When someone embarks on this path with a deep desire for higher truth and spiritual understanding, the divine forces guide them to an authentic guru.

Protecting oneself from false gurus requires maintaining personal integrity and staying vigilant. With the understanding that there are very few real gurus, it is essential to approach potential teachers with a cautious mindset and let them prove their authenticity. Some red flags to watch out for include greediness, fame-seeking, sexual promiscuity, starting a cult, or encouraging cult-like behavior among followers.

“We should not hastily accept a guru out of fanaticism; such an approach can be dangerous.”

“Beware of false and unauthorized gurus who deceive by displaying religious sentiments while engaging in immoral activities. They masquerade as spiritual masters and devotees of God.”

In the quest for a true guru, seekers must remain discerning and not be swayed by superficial appearances. A genuine guru embodies wisdom, compassion, and humility, and their teachings lead followers on the path of self-discovery and spiritual realization. By staying true to their authentic quest and discerning the qualities of potential gurus, seekers can find the guidance they need to navigate their spiritual journey with clarity and sincerity.

“When the student is ready, the teacher appears”

YES, the “real” guru is as real as the God within. You will find yours if you so wish, when you want that, otherwise, simply think of everyone as your teacher but keep a discerning mind, because a teacher is a fallible human and you will likely not follow a teacher blindly. Stay safe.

The cult attraction:

The reality is that there are numerous groups, cults, and organizations scattered across the globe, possibly numbering in the hundreds or thousands. While some of these groups may not pose any immediate danger, others can be potentially harmful.

One common thread among such groups is that they prioritize the interests of their leaders and the expansion of the cult over the well-being of their followers. In these environments, individual members often hold little significance or value; they are merely means to serve the agendas of the leaders and the cult’s growth.

The focus remains solely on the leader’s desires and the perpetuation of the organization, while the needs and welfare of individual followers are often neglected or disregarded. It is essential for people to be vigilant and cautious when engaging with any group or organization and to critically evaluate their intentions, practices, and treatment of members to ensure their safety and well-being.

A cult typically revolves around a charismatic leader or an ideology that binds its members together. It presents a belief system that claims to have all the answers to life’s questions and offers a unique solution or salvation that can only be attained by adhering to the rules and teachings of the leader. Cults often demand a significant level of commitment and loyalty from at least some of their members, which can lead to controlling and manipulative behaviors within the group. These traits distinguish cults from other social or religious organizations, and it’s important for individuals to be aware of these signs when encountering such groups.

Here’s how to transcend the cult environment and gain (or re-gain) personal autonomy:

1. Explore Diverse Perspectives: Break free from the belief that there is only one exclusive path to transformation. Embrace a broader exploration of spiritual or personal growth teachings from various sources, allowing yourself to consider different viewpoints.

2. Self-Transformation: Focus on your own inner growth and development without being bound by a prescribed transformational process dictated by a group. Seek personal growth at your own pace and based on your unique journey.

3. Critical Thinking: Cultivate critical thinking skills to evaluate information and beliefs objectively. Question ideologies and claims presented by groups and individuals, assessing them based on evidence and reason.

4. Seek Balanced Information: Seek information from diverse and reputable sources. Avoid being solely reliant on one group or individual for knowledge and insights.

5. Build a Supportive Network: Foster connections with a diverse community of people who respect your autonomy and encourage personal growth. Surround yourself with friends, family, or like-minded individuals who value individuality and freedom of thought.

6. Maintain Healthy Boundaries: Avoid isolating yourself from the outside world. Keep healthy relationships with family and friends, maintaining a balanced perspective on your involvement with any group.

7. Embrace Individuality: Emphasize personal agency and autonomy. Refrain from conforming to strict behavioral controls imposed by others and choose your actions based on your own values and principles.

8. Define Your Purpose: Explore your own sense of purpose and meaning in life, independent of any group’s ideology. Focus on fulfilling your own aspirations and goals, guided by your authentic self.

9. Appreciate Diversity: Embrace diversity and respect the perspectives of others. Reject the “us vs. them” mentality and strive for understanding and cooperation with people of different beliefs and backgrounds.

10. Stay Mindful: Be mindful of gradual indoctrination or manipulation tactics. Stay aware of any attempts to control your thoughts or actions by others, and assert your right to make independent choices.

If you have been indoctrinated you will most likely not be aware of it, however your friends and family are most likely concerned. Notice if your loved ones express concern, and be open to hearing why. Seek help, and invest in therapy.

Identifying Fake Law of Assumption Teachings in Three Steps:

The Law of Assumption, (also known as the Law of Attraction), is simply a concept that suggests our thoughts and beliefs can influence our reality. While there are many genuine and effective teachers of this law, there are also fake or misleading teachings that can lead individuals astray. To safeguard yourself from falling prey to fake Law of Assumption teachings, follow these three steps:

1. Examine the Source and Credibility:

The first step in identifying fake Law of Assumption teachings is to examine the source and credibility of the teacher or source promoting the teachings. Look for the following signs:

Lack of Credentials: Authentic teachers often have relevant qualifications, certifications, or extensive experience in the field they are teaching. If the source lacks any verifiable credentials, it might be a red flag. LOA does not have a credentialing process, but look for OTHER health and coaching credentials. I have had several patients who got a lot worse after using the Law of assumption/attraction, and it is important for a coach to be able to recognize red flags in clients as well.

Misleading Claims: Be cautious of teachers who make grandiose promises or guarantee unrealistic outcomes. Genuine teachers of the Law of Assumption emphasize personal responsibility and growth rather than offering shortcuts to success or instant solutions.

Lack of Transparency: Authentic teachers are transparent about their methods and principles. If a source withholds critical information or tries to keep their teachings secretive, it could indicate deception.

2. Evaluate the Teachings and Content:

Once you’ve assessed the credibility of the source, the next step is to evaluate the actual teachings and content presented. Look out for the following warning signs:

Misinterpretation of the Law: Beware of teachings that distort or misinterpret the Law of Assumption principles. The Law of Assumption is about maintaining a positive mindset, cultivating a healthy concept of self, and embracing a “can do” attitude. It revolves around empowering yourself and others, not manipulating or controlling them. True Law of Assumption teachings foster a sense of connection with others spiritually and emotionally, promoting mutual growth and harmony. On the other hand, dangerous misinterpretations may suggest that you can achieve your desires without any effort or responsibility, such as dropping all commitments and expecting instant manifestation. Such teachings are reckless and self-serving, lacking in genuine value for their clients.

Mutual Value Emphasize is Lacking: Be cautious of teachings that prioritize the material gains, wealth, or personal benefits of the teacher over the well-being of their followers. Authentic Law of Assumption teachings place equal emphasis on the well-being and growth of both the teacher and the students. A genuine teacher will strive to empower their students to achieve their desires and live fulfilling lives.

Overemphasis on Material Gains: While the Law of Assumption does involve attracting abundance and material gains, be discerning if the teachings excessively focus solely on material possessions without addressing the importance of self-esteem, a healthy self-concept, and a strong foundational core self. Authentic teachings of the Law of Assumption emphasize holistic well-being and spiritual growth, acknowledging that true abundance comes from aligning with one’s higher self and purpose.

Fear-Based Tactics: Fake teachings may resort to fear-based tactics to manipulate followers into taking immediate actions or making drastic decisions. This could include creating a sense of urgency or promoting doomsday scenarios if specific actions are not taken. Although fear-based tactics are not as common in Law of Assumption teachings, some coaches may adopt extreme beliefs, such as an Armageddon scenario, which is indicative of radicalized cult-like behavior.

In conclusion, evaluating Law of Assumption teachings requires discernment and a focus on genuine value, empowerment, and mutual growth. Be cautious of misinterpretations that distort the true essence of the Law of Assumption, and seek teachings that prioritize holistic well-being, spiritual growth, and a positive mindset. Remember that authentic teachings will emphasize a connection with others and yourself, fostering a balanced and fulfilling journey towards manifesting your desires.

3. Trust Your Intuition and Gut Feeling:

Lastly, trust your intuition and gut feeling when evaluating Law of Assumption teachings. If something doesn’t feel right or resonates with you, it’s essential to listen to those instincts. Authentic teachings should empower and uplift you, not create fear or dependency on the teacher.

If you have had recent events such as, a recent break up with a boyfriend or a girlfriend, a loss of job, an inheritance of money indication loss and grief, recently divorced, or any upheaval or major change, you might be MORE susceptible to becoming deeply enmeshed in a cult like situation. Most people reach out for help exactly in these types of situations, and it is more important as coach to help the client regain a stable sense of self first and foremost.

YES, Another REVISION post!

“You rise to a higher level of consciousness by taking your attention away from your present limitations and placing it upon that which you desire to be.”

Neville Goddard

YES, Another REVISION post!

Let’s accomplish two things in this short blog post.

  1. How easy is revision?
  2. The deeper purpose of practicing revision.

Let’s start with HOW EASY IS REVISION?

Neville Goddard Collection

There is one answer, it is easy. You simply flip the script in your head. Done.

SO if it is this easy then why do we need to know more?

Good question.

Most people have a learning curve around this, myself included. I would say that the step from learning to doing is the steep part. Most people get stuck at the learning part, and then they begin to barrage the world in all its vastness, every internet group they can find. Did you try it and did it work?

That is the extent of the beginners’ work.

Guess what?

There is no “it”. No “it” is ever responsible for doing the work, it turns out that it is you who has to do the work.

The hardest part is to embrace the silly fact that you actually have to do the revision. YOU have to do it.

“Do not waste one moment in regret, for to think feelingly of the mistakes of the past is to re-infect yourself. Turn from appearances and assume the feeling that would be yours were you already the one you wish to be.”

Neville Goddard

How?

  1. Bring your mind to your imagination.
  2. Imagine the situation differently
  3. Repeat a few times, until you get a feeling that everything is fine

Alternately:

  1. Grab a pen and paper
  2. Write the unwanted thing
  3. Recreate it on another paper to a wanted situation
  4. Read it to yourself until you get a feeling that all is well.

Those are the basic ways, or you can replay a conversation, in this case engage your sense of hearing, and instead hear what you hoped to hear.

“Change your conception of yourself and you will automatically change the world in which you live. Do not try to change people; they are only messengers telling you who you are. Revalue yourself and they will confirm the change.”

Neville Goddard

This second part is going to go a little deeper so if you are mostly looking for information that you can apply in your specific situation, you are done reading!

For everyone who wants to know what the meaning is behind all this, let’s keep going:

“The world is a mirror, forever reflecting what you are doing, within yourself.”

Neville Goddard

Those of who already know me, might know that I have come to these teaching a very organic way, I always had the awareness and knowledge of the nondual teachings of the east, in spite of not hearing about even Buddhism until I was in my late teens. One day, (in my twenties now), I read a Buddhist text, and I saw that they were aligned with my mystical experiences.

This happens a number of people, and now I know so many of you who are experiencing life this way, and I am so happy to meet all of you. We know these things already, and coming upon the teachings is in a way, like coming home.

Neville Goddard Collection

Every mystical concept I have had has been confirmed by Buddhism, Nondual Vedanta, Hindu mythology, The Yoga Sutra’s, Tantra, you name it, but there was ONE powerful mystical experience in which I saw humanity as coming into being as “pieces of broken mirror”. Billions and trillions of shards of broken mirrors. The work we have before us, is to bring the jagged shards back together, and the deeper implication was that “No one, is in truth, going to “heaven”, no one is in truth “liberated”, or completely “enlightened”, until we all go.

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find something or someone who could confirm what I was seeing as part of a spiritual teaching. I couldn’t find anything about “broken shards of mirror”, until I one day stepped outside of my Santa Monica apartment for a walk, and a few blocks away stumbled upon a small stack of books that someone had left outside. I picked them up, and they were a book series called “The Zohar”.

I have heard that The Zohar enters your life when you are ready.

If you have understood oneness consciousness, then this all makes perfect sense. I had been asking, “what or where is this mystical vision coming from”, and there was my answer, Of course it was still going to be several months until I came upon the concept of the “shattering of the vessel”. The Zohar pointed the way, and the discovery was the kabbalist creation concept of “The Shattering Of The Vessels”, and THIS, I will let you discover on your own, by doing google searches, because I am not a Kabbalist. (but I am learning as fast as I came on my own).T he Shattering Of The Vessel is the essence of the fracturing that has to happen as our consiousness enters this dimension. For the first time, I had found that there is indeed, a spiritual teaching, centered around the fragment that takes place when our consciousness enters this dimension.

Our job here is very very simple. To overcome ourselves, and to harmonize the broken mirror.  If YOU want to deeply work with these concepts, then start today, to look for YOUR spiritual group. You will grow and thrive lightyears faster in a group rather than on your own. You can stay tuned for my group as well, it is in the development stages, and when it is ready I will post notifications.

“The world is a mirror, forever reflecting what you are doing, within yourself.”

WHAT does it have to do with revision?

When you decide that your path is that of the magnificent path of none other than God Himself and Herself, who came into being, and when he came into being his light was too bright, his radiance to strong, that it simply shattered, and broken into smaller portions, God Himself and Herself, now experiences “being”, through you and through me, then you will want something beyond “getting” and “having”. Your wants will change, and take more altruistic forms.

It takes time to bring broken glass together, it’s hard for us to find where the pieces fit. It is hard to bring the light back in too, it is still too bright and radiant for us, even those moments when we have awakening experiences, the brightness overwhelms us, and still other feel like they go insane after they awaken. Imagine that an awakening experience is still like being in a very dark room, and all that happened was that someone brought in a candle, and your eyes hurt from the brightness, because you were so used to the darkness.

An awakening experience is like that, it is us, in a very dark room, and a candle is brought in. That is all we can handle right now. We can keep working on uniting our souls, it has to be done with an open and vulnerable heart, no fakery, and no political substitutions for connection will suffice. Hearts have to open. Real love has to connect.  It is not enough to say “I gave something charitable, I’m off the hook now”. That just builds another division. ”I” and “Them”.  We are still in the dark, but we are bringing in candles daily. Humanity is currently evolving exponentially. …Revision….

I STILL don’t understand what this has to do with revision, you say.

Neville Goddard Collection

Revision is the act of seeing things in their TRUE light. Divine perception. Seeing with the eye of God. Seeing through the illusion, and challenging ourselves to transmute that illusion into its truth of ONE consciousness. Divine projection. Seeing GOD in everyone.

“You rise to a higher level of consciousness by taking your attention away from your present limitations and placing it upon that which you desire to be.”

Neville Goddard

EVENTUALLY, the “higher” levels of consciousness, becomes pure self luminous radiance, a connectedness, because there was truly no separation to begin with, and pure love enters of such a kind that you never need to ask for love again. Bliss.

“The world moves with motiveless necessity. By this is meant that it has no motive of its own, but is under the necessity of manifesting your concept, the arrangement of your mind, and your mind is always arranged in the image of all you believe and consent to as true. “

Neville Goddard

There is no outer “it”, there is no thing that is in opposition to yourself, it is all a divine mirror image, reflecting back the inner work that we still have to do.

“Man’s chief delusion is his conviction that there are causes other than his own state of consciousness.”

Neville Goddard

In this way, we can see that there is no other work to be done except for revision…

Lots of love,

Anna

So many garish lamps in the dying brain’s lamp-show,
Forget about them.
Concentrate on the essence, concentrate on the Light.
In lucid bliss, calmly smoking off its own holy fire,

The Light streams towards you from all things,
All people, all possible permutations of good, evil, thought, passion.

The lamps are different,
but the Light is the same.

One matter, one energy, one Light, one Light-mind,
Endlessly emanating all things.

One turning and burning diamond,
One, one, one.

Ground yourself, strip yourself down,
To blind loving silence.
Stay there, until you see
You are gazing at the Light
With its own ageless eyes”
