“THE QUESTION is often asked, “What should be done between the assumption of the wish fulfilled and its realization?”
Nothing. It is a delusion that, other than assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled, you can do anything to aid the realization of your desire.
You think that you can do something, you want to do something; but actually you can do nothing. The illusion of the free will to do is but ignorance of the law of assumption upon which all action is based.
Everything happens automatically.
All that befalls you, all that is done by you – happens.
Your assumptions, conscious or unconscious, direct all thought and action to their fulfillment.
To understand the law of assumption, to be convinced of its truth, means getting rid of all the illusions about free will to act. Free will actually means freedom to select any idea you desire.
By assuming the idea already to be a fact, it is converted into reality. Beyond that, free will ends, and everything happens in harmony with the concept assumed.
I can of Mine Own Self do nothing… because I seek not Mine Own Will, but the Will of the Father which hath sent Me.
John 5.30
In this quotation, the Father obviously refers to God. In an earlier chapter, God is defined as I AM.
Since creation is finished, the Father is never in a position of saying “I will be”. In other words, everything exists, and the infinite I AM consciousness can speak only in the present tense.
Not My Will, but Thine be done.
Luke 22.42
“I will be” is a confession that “I am not”. The Father’s Will is always “I AM”.
Until you realize that YOU are the Father (there is only one I AM, and your infinite self is that I AM), your will is always “I will be”.
In the law of assumption, your consciousness of being is the Father’s will. The mere wish without this consciousness is the “my will”. This great quotation, so little understood, is a perfect statement of the law of assumption.
It is impossible to do anything. You must be in order to do.
If you had a different concept of yourself, everything would be different.
You are what you are, so everything is as it is.
The events which you observe are determined by the concept you have of yourself.
If you change your concept of yourself, the events ahead of you in time are altered, but, thus altered, they form again a deterministic sequence starting from the moment of this changed concept. You are a being with powers of intervention, which enable you, by a change of consciousness, to alter the course of observed events – in fact, to change your future.
Deny the evidence of the senses, and assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
Inasmuch as your assumption is creative and forms an atmosphere, your assumption, if it be a noble one, increases your assurance and helps you to reach a higher level of being.
If, on the other hand, your assumption be an unlovely one, it hinders you and makes your downward way swifter. Just as the lovely assumptions create a harmonious atmosphere, so the hard and bitter feelings create a hard and bitter atmosphere.
Whatsoever things are pure, just, lovely, of good report, think on these things. [Approx., Philippians 4:8]
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

This means to make your assumptions the highest, noblest, happiest concepts. There is no better time to start than now. The present moment is always the most opportune in which to eliminate all unlovely assumptions and to concentrate only on the good.
As well as yourself, claim for others their Divine inheritance.
See only their good and the good in them. Stir the highest in others to confidence and self-assertion by your sincere assumption of their good, and you will be their prophet and their healer, for an inevitable fulfillment awaits all sustained assumptions.
You win by assumption what you can never win by force.
An assumption is a certain motion of consciousness. This motion, like all motion, exercises an influence on the surrounding substance causing it to take the shape of, echo, and reflect the assumption. A change of fortune is a new direction and outlook, merely a change in arrangement of the same mind substance – consciousness.
If you would change your life, you must begin at the very source with your own basic concept of self.
Outer change, becoming part of organizations, political bodies, religious bodies, is not enough. The cause goes deeper. The essential change must take place in yourself, in your own concept of self.
You must assume that you are what you want to be and continue therein, for the reality of your assumption has its being in complete independence of objective fact and will clothe itself in flesh if you persist in the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
When you know that assumptions, if persisted in, harden into facts, then events which seem to the uninitiated mere accidents will be understood by you to be the logical and inevitable effects of your assumption.
The important thing to bear in mind is that you have infinite free will in choosing your assumptions, but no power to determine conditions and events.

And THAT is exactly what Neville says about free will. What did you hear about free will? Have you listened to coaches say that “there is no free will”, or “no one has free will in your reality”? Now you know that everyone was given free will, you and everyone else too.

God is the Potter and humans are the clay.
The clay, Adam and Eve, were created with free will to have a loving, meaningful relationship with God and with each other. Without free will, there is no love…. Love is a choice…without free will to chose love there can be no love….
God did not create man in the image of a robot, without free will.
God created Adam and Eve to reflect the most important characteristic of God, which is love, he created mankind within the existing harmonious universe, which he saw was good, and we are free to choose this good, any time, and we are free to chose discord, fear, doubt, hate, and envy any time we like. Free will, is love, if you love someone, set them free.
Knowledge of good and evil
Fallen man is in bondage to sin, under the influence and deception of Satan, and spiritually dead and separated from God.
Free will means that we WILL choose rebellion, at some point, and experience that the freedom FROM God, is the same as and equal to bondage to the flesh. We “know good and evil”.
God’s Gifts of Free Will and Love
Love is the supernatural healing, it is divine harmony, and it is the highest ethic, and it is WHOLLY contingent upon…. freedom …… FREE WILL.
It is indispensable to love, and LOVE is God’s supreme goal for all of us is that we will love him with all of our hearts and love our neighbors as ourselves,to violate free will would be to violate that which is a necessary for love to flourish.
THIS is the one message of Christianity, it is the Alpha and the Omega of Christs teachings, and raison d’etre.
“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,[athat everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” -John 3.14-21
Of course, the New Testament is written in Greek, and the word used for love is Agape, a selfless, charitable, Christ-like love.
Back to Neville’s discourse on free will…

Summary of Neville’s concept:
You create nothing.
You can choose what of creation you experience by choosing HOW you experience WHAT you are experiencing…(mental gymnastics here)
By choosing love you are invoking your free will to transcend WHAT you are experiencing.
Manifesting anything involves perceiving its existence in its potential reality. For instance, considering the sun, it is always shining; even if it sets in one part of the world, it rises in another. Its light is perpetual, never truly extinguished. This perspective highlights the idea that everything exists in a state of potentiality, waiting to manifest in the physical realm. In a matter of hours there is another sunrise, and so on. The potential is as real as its manifestation. Your body, is a manifestation of your soul, and the universe is a manifestation of God. All potential is here already.
Joshua
In the book of Joshua, chapter 10, we witness a display of the power of manifestation in when walking in faith in God.
Joshua’s focus on the sun highlights its perpetual nature—it never truly “sets” in the sense of ceasing to exist or shine. Despite the Earth’s rotation, the sun continues to emit light, representing an eternal presence rather than a temporary phenomenon.
The story of Joshua unfolds as the Amorite kings gather their forces to attack Gibeon, a city that had made peace with Joshua and the Israelites. (The events described in Joshua Chapter 10 are traditionally believed to have taken place around 1400-1350 BCE during the Israelite conquest of Canaan.)Sensing the imminent danger, the Gibeonites send word to Joshua, calling for his swift aid.
Joshua, guided by the Lord, marches with his army to confront the enemy. Despite the overwhelming odds, he receives a divine reassurance: – “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand.” Emboldened by this promise, Joshua launches a surprise attack, and the Lord throws the enemy into confusion before Israel, leading to their complete defeat.
Yet, the most remarkable moment comes when Joshua, filled with faith and conviction, speaks to the sun and the moon, commanding them to stand still over Gibeon and the Valley of Aijalon. Miraculously, the sun obeys his command, halting in the middle of the sky, and the moon stops, extending the day to allow Israel to achieve total victory.
This event showcases the essence of manifestation when aligned with God. Joshua’s faith in God’s promise and his declaration to the sun and moon demonstrate the limitless and the miraculous.
What doe the story convey?
Divine Intervention: God lengthened the period of daylight so that Joshua’s army could have more time to achieve victory against the Amorites.
Symbolic Act: The alteration in the constellations symbolized the Lord’s victory over the lesser gods of Canaan, who were associated with the sun and moon. (Trust in anything ABOVE God, is a backwards act)
Joshua’s Request: Joshua asked for the sun to stand still and the moon to stop, allowing Israel to take vengeance on their enemies.
Condemnation of Idolatry: Many of Israel’s neighbors worshipped their deities in association with the sun and moon, which was prohibited by Moses. The stilling of the sun and moon symbolized the paralysis of these inferior gods. What “inferior Gods” have we placed before God today?
Language of Paralysis: The term “still” used to describe the sun’s state (דום; dom) echoes Moses’ description of the inhabitants of Canaan being paralyzed with fear at the might of God. There are two sides you can be on. For or against. You can’t serve two masters.
Vengeance Against Adversaries: The sun and moon’s stoppage allowed Israel to take vengeance on its enemies, similar to God’s vengeance against lesser gods as described by Moses.
Faith in God:
Joshua demonstrated trust in God’s promises and guidance, believing in the fulfillment of God’s covenant with the Israelites.(in spiritual terms, “Israel” represents a state of alignment with God, a journey of spiritual evolution, and a profound connection to the divine presence.)
He exhibited courage and confidence in the face of challenges, relying on God’s strength to overcome obstacles.
Joshua’s faith is evident in his obedience to God’s commands, even when they seemed difficult to comprehend.
He remained steadfast in his belief in God’s faithfulness, drawing inspiration from past acts of intervention and deliverance.
Walk with God:
Joshua sought God’s presence and direction through prayer and meditation, communing with the Lord to discern His will.
He displayed humility and dependence on God, acknowledging his reliance on divine guidance rather than his own understanding. (Lean not on your own understanding, take a leap of faith)
Joshua prioritized God’s laws and statutes, aligning his actions with God’s principles.
His leadership was marked by integrity and righteousness, reflecting his commitment to walking in accordance with God’s standards. (Your RIGHTEOUS desires will be fulfilled)
The Free will conundrum in LOA
Joshua’s exercise of free will to command the sun to stand still parallels the idea of eating from the tree of life in the biblical narrative. Just as Adam and Eve had the choice to partake of the tree of life in the Garden of Eden, Joshua, as a representative of humanity, exercises his free will to command the sun, symbolizing life and light, to pause. This action demonstrates his authority and connection with God, akin to partaking of the tree of life, which symbolizes communion with God and eternal life. Through his decisive action, Joshua aligns himself with God’s will and exhibits a level of spiritual insight and authority that reflects his deep connection with the divine. On the contrary, The Tre of knowledge of good and evil is a choice to experience fear, anger ect. It is the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. Making the choice of communing with Gd, is “eating from the tree of life” and good and evil naturally is experienced with the consiousness of the creator.
Personal Miracle
I’ve experienced personal miracles in my life, and one particular story stands out vividly. It’s a testament to the power of faith and divine intervention.
Years ago, a very dear friend of mine went missing. At that time, communication was limited to letter writing and very expensive international phone calls…, and I had moved out of the country, so we stayed in touch by letter writing.
When I came back home, I found out the hed was missing, and that three months passed without any word from him Despite his parents’ efforts (his father was even a detective), they couldn’t find any leads. I felt a deep sense of worry and urgency.
I also started search efforts, three months behind, by talking to his friends and visiting places he frequented, but to no avail. Days turned into a week, and despite my best efforts, I realized I was no closer to finding him. Desperation set in, but instead of giving up, I turned to prayer.
In a moment of surrender, I poured out my heart to God. I confessed my inability to find my friend and pleaded for divine guidance. I prayed: “God, I have looked everywhere, but I can’t find him. Please help me. I know you know where he is. Show me the way. I don’t know how to hear your voice, so here’s what I’ll do: if you want me to go in a certain direction, make that direction brighter. Light up the sun in the direction I should go, and I will follow.“
Within an hour of uttering that prayer, and actually following through on my request, even though I felt VERY WEIRD just following rays of sun…. I found my friend.
It was nothing short of a miraculous. I was filled with relief and awe at the divine intervention that had taken place. I would never in a million years have thought to search where I found him, yet I was led there by God. It was a clear example of God’s perfect work.
Miracles happen when we surrender to God, until then he lets us do it by our own might. What miracles all have in common is surrender.
Let go and let God.
To the PURE all things are pure
In my personal experience, my sincere and heartfelt prayer to God reflected the purity of my intentions. My genuine desire to find my missing friend, coupled with my trust and faith in God’s ability to help, created a spiritual atmosphere conducive to receiving divine assistance.
A pure heart, free from selfish motives or doubts, or duplicity, allows us to surrender our worries and fears entirely to God, opening the pathway for His intervention. My word for this is DOERSHIP. You have to stop finagling.
In Joshua’s story, his faith and obedience to God stemmed from a pure heart. Throughout the battles against the Amorites, Joshua demonstrated a deep trust in God’s promises and a commitment to follow His commands without hesitation. His purity of heart enabled him to hear and obey God’s instructions, even when they seemed impossible or unconventional.
A pure heart is the conduit for divine communication and action. When our intentions are sincere, and our hearts are aligned with God’s will, we become receptive to His guidance and blessings. This purity of heart allows us to experience the miraculous.
Unrighteousness
God’s promises are aligned with righteousness, and He does not manifest unrighteous desires. No miracles are made around debauchery, cheating, evilness theft, murder, greed and so on. ONLY righteous desires are made manifest by God.
However, through our free will, we have the ability to pursue our own desires, whether they are righteous or not. When we choose to manifest outside the bounds of righteousness, we exercise our free will in a way that leads us away from God’s promises and into the realm of the knowledge of good and evil. This choice brings consequences and separates us from the security and peacefulness of God’s felt presence. Then we have knowledge.
In the beginning, God created mankind in His image.
“In the beginning, God created mankind in His image.” This reveals an important aspect of our existence: OUR creative power. Just as God brought forth the universe, Earth, and all living things into being, He bestowed upon us the ability to create and manifest.
The Seed of Potential Within
When we say that we are created in God’s image, it signifies that we carry within us the same creative potential as the divine. Just as an apple seed contains within it the tree it that it will become, and also, the apple that will eventually grow on the tree, so we possess the potential to manifest through the power of our thoughts. But a state of potential is just potential, nothing else.
Manifestation as Existing Potential
If I plan to travel from Sweden to Santa Monica next week and I envision myself walking on the beach, making footprints in the sand, these footprints of mine, already exist, as potential. Just like the apple seed that eventually becomes and apple. Our thoughts contain the blueprint for outcomes. Our thoughts are the cause for th effects that we see.
Manifestation
Recognize your divine heritage: YOU are created in the image of the Creator, imbued with the same creative potential. You are NOT merely an animal or plant, but rather, IN HIS IMAGE. Nothing else wich was created before mankind was created in HIS image. Just us.
Cultivate mindfulness: Pay attention to your thoughts and beliefs, as they are the cause of reality. Replace out of control ruminations and inner arguments with controlled states of mind.
Did you manage to get into a state, but then a rude guy caused you to argue for 20 minutes and now you’ve spent 3 days thinking about it? You attained it, but couldn’t maintain it.
Sustained States
The manifestation is easier than the sustaining. The ability to create and to maintain, to grow and make better is what separates the boys from the men. This is the essence of manifestation. Sustained states requires disciple. Jesus says, if your eye causes you to sin,. pluck it out. I’m not saying to gauge your eyes out, but if you seriously set y0our mind on something, then do what you have to to maintain that single pointed mind.
“While you are waiting, do what every waiter does… SERVE.”
Why is it so much easier to fully grasp the basics of what Neville Presented as a Christian, and why is it so hard for atheist and other non-believers?
That’s easy to answer.
We already have the concept of “letting God” down pat. Doing vs non-doing is not as confusing for us, because we have already accepted that we are not the “doers” of the universe, God is. Thus, most of you who ask “what should I do” simply also need to grasp this doership FACT:
There are things we can not do. Like rise the sun. Or create the universe. Of exchange oxygen atoms during inhales. The processes that belong to God, you simple let go of. You have prayed, that means that your part of the job is done. Now comes the trust part. This doesn’t meant that “you don’t take any action”,, you are confusing apples and oranges. you can’t just sit on your bum and expect to have a good life, but if you are NOT going to trust in your intention, why even bother with intending in the first place? Just go back to being wishy washy about life.
So what should you do? Not wait.
How do you “not wait“
Well for one, you can exchange the feeling of waiting for expectancy.
Instead of waiting you can “expect”.
Or as the quote above says: Do what every waiter does: SERVE.
This means, take you focus off yourself and focus on others. There is TOO MUCH narcissism and self centeredness going around, and LOA naturally attracts MORE self centeredness. The trouble with is of course that you are in a state of entitlement, whininess or neediness. In other words: In a state of WAITING. In a state of “not having”. Un-fulfilment and lack of gratitude. Not the end state.
What should you do while waiting?
DON’T wait. Serve.
Expect.

Can we talk about how this does not cover all the things that we have identified god as being?
This will be my first post on correcting Neville. Upon realizing the amount of people who are atheist, and still have the audacity to use the bible, albeit in plagiarized form, to push their “no God but myself” agenda, I have decided to spend some time correcting Neville.
“Awareness of being” in one part true, but this does not explain the intelligent design of the universe, how every miniscule cell and electron, atom, has an end goal that it it designed to fulfill. A fruit fly cell can only become a fruit fly, not a horse fly, and certainly not a human.
Sure, “The Lord is your awareness of being” but that is far from everything that God is.
We instead think of “the creator” and “the creation”, and we think of ourselves as “created” or “creatures”. This makes more sense, and also, we can then ADD to this that we are created “in his image” so we have the same attributes as our creator, and part of His attribute is “awareness of being”. SO though Neville is right, he is also wrong.
Neville Goddard’s quote focuses ONLY on ONE aspect of the divine nature, which is the “awareness of being.” While this is an essential aspect, it doesn’t encompass the entirety of God’s attributes, such as intelligence, creativity, and omnipotence.
A revised version of the quote could be:
We have identified the Lord as the source of our awareness of being. However, the concept of God extends beyond mere awareness to encompass the intelligence and creative power behind the universe’s design. To ‘magnify the Lord’ is to expand our understanding of God to include His attributes of intelligence, creativity, and omnipotence, realizing that we are created in His image and share in these divine qualities.
A Better Neville Goddard
This revised version acknowledges Neville’s insight while broadening the perspective to encompass a more comprehensive understanding of God’s nature.

Divine Selection is a term used to describe ” a destined partner”. The funny thing is, the people who use the term have more often than not REJECTED the idea of God, and are manifesting a SPECIFIC PERSON. Let’s fix the misunderstandings.
When you send out real love, will real love will return to you?
Let me start off by saying this:
YES there is a divine selection and it is up to you to make the selection. You are God’s choice for the very life you are ordained to live. Don’t DOUBT yourself. Don’t doubt God’s love for you. You are PERFECTLY capable of making the choice. It comes down to discerment.
“Pure, unselfish love draws to itself its own; it does not need to seek or demand. Scarcely anyone has the faintest conception of real love.”
Ahead of Neville Goddard, is another author who blazed trails in America; Florence Scovel Shinn’s book, The Game Of Life and How To Play it was published in 1925,
The Game of Life and How to Play It was a pioneer of self-help literature mostly based on positive thinking and a brand new mind tool called “demonstrations”, which we now call “affirmations”. but what she is really addressing is self confidence. Florence Scovel Shinn’s style of affirmations were highly Specific, containing all necessary changes in mindset for the specific situation, and they were detailed, and often rhyming. Scovel Shinn did not emphasize any other “manifesting tools”. Just affirmations, and faith in God. She does talk about an idea of a “Divine Selection”, meaning, a person who is in a way destined to be your spouse.
Florence Scovel Shinn belongs to a group of New Thought teachers who were informed by the Bible, others at the time, were informed by Eastern mysticism and you can see the traces and evidence of that in various teachings. Neville Goddard was taught by a Rabbi, and this is why he has such a unique approach compared to the vast majority of New Thought teachers.
Florence Scovel Shinn was as an illustrator, but he became known for her abilities in creating effective affirmations for people, informed by passages from the Bible and theories of human nature and the power of the subconscious mind to do our work for us.
Let’s into her concept of a true and real love connection. I want to share this with you, because Florence Scovel Shinn, because she addresses this phenomenon of “divine selection”.
Florence Scovel Shinn gives an easy recipe for ensuring that you feel that you are with the right partner, the one that was made just for you. This is a refreshing take on love and a much needed perspective for anyone who feels obsessive, addicted or desperate for the specific person.
Her “demonstration” stories have a miraculous feel to them, and in truth, a feeling that our love was brought to us in some miraculous way, by the hand of God, makes us believe more strongly in the divinity of the love connection.
If you are caught in a mindset that has you question if it is “meant to be”, or if this is your soulmate, divine selection or divinely appointed partner, then this chapter can help you release worry, and come to an understanding that you get to have a say in what is meant or not meant to be. Chances are if you are asking this question, something is bothering you about the situation. Can a simple mindset shift give you clarity? Let’s read:
Just as the perfect picture of the oak is in the acorn, the divine pattern of his life is in the super-conscious mind of man. (Florence uses the term “super conscious” to indicate God’s voice)
In the Divine Design there is no limitation, only health, wealth, love and perfect self-expression.
So on man’s pathway there is always a Divine Selection. Each day he must live according to the Divine Plan or have unhappy reactions.
For example: A woman moved into a new apartment which she had almost furnished, when the thought came to her: “On that side of the room should stand a Chinese cabinet!
Not long after, she was walking by an antique shop. She glanced in and there stood a magnificent Chinese cabinet about eight feet high, elaborately carved.
She entered and asked the price. The salesman said it was worth a thousand dollars but the woman who owned it was willing to take less. The man added: “What will you offer for it?” The woman paused and the price “Two hundred dollars” came into her mind, so she answered: “Two hundred dollars.” The man said he would let her know if the offer were satisfactory.
She did not want to cheat anyone or get anything which was not rightfully hers, so going home she said repeatedly: “If it’s mine I can’t lose it and of it isn’t mine, I don’t want it.” It was a snowy day and she said she emphasized her words by kicking the snow from right to left, clearing a pathway to her apartment.
Several days had lapsed when she was notified that the woman was willing to sell the cabinet for two hundred dollars.

Love is God in manifestation, and the strongest magnetic force in the universe. Pure, unselfish love draws to itself its own; it does not need to seek or demand.
Scarcely anyone has the faintest conception of real love. Man is selfish, tyrannical or fearful in his affections, thereby losing the thing he loves.
Jealousy is the worst enemy of love, for the imagination runs riot, seeing the loved one attracted to another, and invariably these fears objectify if they are not neutralized.

Several months passed, and matters remained about the same, but she was working conscientiously with herself. I said, “When you are no longer disturbed by his cruelty, he will cease to be cruel, as you are attracting it through your own emotions.”
Then I told her of a brotherhood in India, who never said, “Good morning” to each other. They used these words: “I salute the Divinity in you.” They saluted the divinity in every man, and in the wild animals in the jungle, and they were never harmed, for they saw only God in every living thing. I said, “Salute the divinity in this man, and say, ‘I see your divine self only. I see you as God sees you, perfect, made in His image and likeness.’”

The Law of Assumption does not operate on a belief that life is predestined or fated. To believe that something “is or isn’t meant for us” removes our free will completely from the equation. Rather, the Law of Assumption states that we ourselves determine these things by our conscious or unconscious imagination. Notice the importance of imagination, Florence brings it up above in the context of jealousy. Imagination has a way of running rampant in unwanted directions, and this ultimately can create a feeling of “it wasn’t meant to be’, when truly, we ruined something good by continuously imagining the worst possible scenarios. Imagination is not something that you should give over to destructive thoughts. Be clear on what you are imagining, and makes sure this is not a tool you have let destructive thoughts take control over.
So many people want to hold onto this idea of a divine selection, because it is a great relief to be able to assign divine selection to our desires. ”It is God’s will” then I don’t have to do the necessary work to be a good partner…..ummm…yes you still have to……But this is really what is at the core of the idea of “Divine selction”. We don’t want to do the work of being good partners, OR the work of choosing someone who as ACTUALLY good for us. We go with what our unresolved childhood trauma drives us towards, and call that person a soulmate… have you ever done this? It is a refusal to grow up, more or less. We can and should choose our own partner, with clarity. Not with our trauma.
So…WHO decides if it is” meant to be”?
No matter what your manifestation is, be it a love interest, a new career choice, a cross-country move, a certain amount of money, you name it, there is only you who that can ever determine if it is “meant to be” for you, or if it is your “divine selection”.
YOU can easily determine if you want this to be meant for you or not.
Making the decision to have, is the same as creating that something to be meant for you. And if it is a love interest? A “specific person” that you have fixated on? The same applies. Just use Florence Scovel Shinn’s example from above, and use your “sp” as a practice person to explore the feeling of love, even if in their absence as in the case so “The Cap”. She loved him and set him free, and in the process she freed herself from hatred. She could have met someone else and she would have been just as happy.
The question regarding the Law of Assumption in the context of different religious beliefs. It’s a great question that touches upon the intersection of spirituality, faith, and personal growth. The question: -“Can Only Christians use the Law of Assumption”?
My Answer is as follows:
First off, this “LAW” of assumption is just based on psychology, it is not a “LAW” the way that gravity is a universal law, rather it is a theory: “We assume ourselves to be someone and thus we become”. It is also not a religion, but rather, psychology. Mind over matter you might say. Law of Assumption is not a religion, it is a mindset theory. Everyone supposedly always assumes SOMETHING whether aware or unaware.
While I appreciate this question, I believe it’s important to approach such matters with respect for the diverse beliefs and traditions that people hold. This specific question though, is from a Muslim individual, and it would best be asked of their own authority, such as an Imam. I can not answer this question for them.
The Law of Assumption, as elucidated by Neville Goddard, primarily draws upon Christian scripture, the Old and New Testaments.
However, interpretations and applications of universal principles like assumptions transcends specific religious affiliations. you could say that any universal law is inadvertently practiced by everyone anyway, wither we are aware or unaware.
In the case of this question, his query was about whether only Christians can utilize the Law of Assumption, it’s understandable that they might wonder this, but they might instead want to seek clarification from their own religious authorities, since Neville uses Biblical quotes and narratives, and this might be a problem. If it is, I do not know, so ask the right person. This is not possible for me to answer, so seek answers from your own sources, regardless of religious affiliation.
That being said, it’s essential to recognize that the wisdom contained in these sacred texts, whether it’s the Torah, or the Bible, or others, carries profound messages that can resonate with people from diverse backgrounds. You can certainly read the Bible regardless of background. Of course you can. You can read the Bhagavad Gita from any background as well. Of course you can. We can learn from each other, this way we understand each other better, that is my own perspective.
The invitation to engage with these texts and draw inspiration from them is indeed open to all who seek spiritual growth and understanding. They serve as guides for navigating life and also, for deepening our connection with God.
Furthermore, the principles espoused in these texts transcend religious boundaries and speak to universal truths about the human experience and our relationship with God.
Concepts like faith, manifestation, and personal transformation are not exclusive to any particular faith but rather speak to fundamental aspects of our shared humanity.
So while the concepts of Law of Assumption as expressed by Neville Goddard, has its roots in Christian scripture, its underlying principles of faith and manifestation are universal and can be appreciated and applied by individuals of various backgrounds. At the end of the day, EVERYONE is assuming themselves to be something….

Imagine that there is more in the Bible than just: “HOW TO GET MORE STUFF”
IF he believs that the only reason to write the Bible was so teach us how to get more stuff the a) why are there so MANY more segments to the bible that talk about other things? b) WHO is it that is providing the STUFF? c) WHO is it that MADE the stuff in the first place, and WHO is it that made us?
These are some questions that come to my mind when I read the socialmedia fanatisism, the toxicity, and the cognitive distortions that must HURT.

Just follow some other dude or gal then. How about Abraham Hicks? Or Sadguru? They steer away from all things Biblical, and still manage to get tha “get more stuff” message out….
It’s important to understand that the Bible was not written with the primary intention of being a psychology book or a guide to understanding the mind’s power. Instead, the Bible is a collection of religious texts and literature that serves various purposes depending on one’s beliefs and interpretations.
The authors of the Bible, who lived in ancient times, wrote within the cultural and religious contexts of their societies.
They expressed their understandings of God, of moral principles and law, historical events, they even wrote songs!
The REAL intent of the Bible is to strenghten the relationship between humanity and God.
While these texts contain moral teachings, ethical guidelines, and narratives that can be applied to psychological principles, their primary aim was to convey religious, spiritual, and cultural messages.
Like a child that reads the Old Testament in a picture book, understands these stories in one way, so does Neville only seem to understand the very same Bible on his own level. His level being psychology and metaphysics is by no means the ultimate or most mature way of understanding it.
The highest level of understanding the Bible is of course, the understanding of God.
All other levels of reading and comprehending are naturally also correct, but that does not mean that it is everything that there is. The child’s level of understanding is still correct, but there is more. As we get older, this becomes more accessible for our brains.
Over time, various thinkers and philosophers, including individuals like Neville Goddard, have interpreted biblical texts through psychological lenses, finding parallels between the themes and teachings of the Bible and principles of human psychology.
This interpretive approach has led to the exploration of how biblical stories and teachings can be understood in terms of human consciousness, behavior, and inner workings of the mind. Ther is the plain and simple level that a child understands, then there is the mind over matter psychological empowerment level that Neville understands, then there is a metaphysical interpretation that seems to be mostly understood from reading the Hebrew language, this only applies to the old testament of course.
Then there is the divine level, where we finally meet and experience God. This is something that Neville never gets to, but that does not mean that it doesn’t exist.
…..Having studied multiple religions for many decades, I will also offer this for the soul that is seeking and seeking…. YES….there is SOMETHING in the New Testament that you will not find anywhere else. It is totally unique, and wonderful. I encourage you to seek there. Just begin with the first page, and see what happens.

You do not have to buy any ideology wholesale just because 99 % of your peers are. So….let’s talk about what a third party IS and what a third party ISN’T.
THIRD PARTY | The Manifesting Community’s Own Label
A third party is someone who has come into your marriage, while you were happily married….or you were married and somehow you started to take each other for granted, on of you didn’t feel fulfilled or appreciated anymore, and instead started to find emotional connection outside of marriage and next thing you know….
Back in the day, divorce was a very last resort, now I think it is part of the general throw away culture and so divorce is as normal as throwing away an old pair of shoes. It is nothing. THIS is where the real issue with YOUR definition of a third party begins. ARE YOU MARRIED? If no, You do not have a third party, here is why.
A few weeks ago I had a client who claimed that his “baby mama” was mad at his side chick, calling him a cheater…. THIS is what you are up against,
THIS is a mindset that is GARBAGE. You are up against a garbage mindset, and if this is your mindset, THIS is what HAS TO CHANGE.
Treating people like garbage in general.
When you treat people like garbage you treat yourself like you are garbage by default, it is part of the unconscious assumption. …Law of assumption….

IF YOU ARE NOT MARRIED YOU DO NOT HAVE A THIRD PARTY. If you are not married, you are what? Dating? Chilling? FWB? In a RELATIONSHIP? What IS that? What are you in? Explain it to me please.
Really stop here, and think about this for a minute.
If you can’t handle what I am saying, maybe this whole manifesting thing is not for you. We manifest who we are, and your ASSUMPTIONS about yourself is a key component of YOUR self concept This is about YOU, and how you treat yourself. If your assumption is this garbage assumption don’t be surprised if your life turns out to be exactly that.
What I started writing this blog and the YouTube, which I may or may not restart, my concept of romantic life was THIS: You are in a relationship only when you are married, or planning to get married. I have witnessed the rapid decline in human mindsets first hand, and don’t fool yourself, people were not always like this, and the grass most certainly is greener on the other side. The other side being where morals still exist.
Anything other tha marriage, does NOT warrant fidelity.

Peer pressure and oeer beliefs create FOR us, but HELLO!
You said that you wanted to create YOUR reality, so is this what you want? To treat relationships like it is something filthy you just throw on the ground, and kick around?
Your heart is the most precious thing that you have. Imagine that it is pristine and pure, beautiful and shiny and clean. You do not want to throw that to the dirty ground. This is what I mean by treating relationships like garbage.
Your own heart becomes like garbage but it is your own doing.
You do it because your WHOLE culture has bought into a lie wholesale.
Unless you are married, you should NOT be wondering how to “get rid of a third party”, and to be clear, even after you are married the goal is obviously not have these kinds of problems, BUT most marriages have some kind of problems, and this is the time to do all that you can to save it. For the FWB situation you have agreed to? Not so much. With a bit of perspective you can easily see that what began as a movement of atheism and science over God turned into a movement of “I”theism and myself over God. Here we are and boy is it an ugly place, and you are asking for help with your THIRD PARTY.
Unless you are married, You. Do. Not Have. A. Third Party.

Desperately unhappy people are vulnerable.
IF this is you, happiness will NOT COME FROM ANY OTHER PERSON.
Many of you have found manifesting teachings because you’re desperate to get an “ex back” or want someone else that you are obsessed with, OR YOU just have an awful live and want you want to make it better, and you think that controlling someone supernaturally will do the trick. It will not.
Reality creation, again, is only about discovering that your assumptions about yourself either work against you or they work for you.
Don’t take this to the point where you spiral even deeper into your own personality flaws like obsessing over random people. Yes random. Unless you are manifesting a better relationship with your SPOUSE you are just trying to manifest a STRANGER.
And THIS is the point that you need to take home. YOUR SPECIFIC PERSON MIGHT BE A STRANGER. Yes, you think that they are your “soulmate”, but how long have you known them?
Heal your heart
I am willing to bet that not only are you trying to control a stranger, but you are also spending money on psychics and tarot readers. Answer this honestly to yourself please. Have you spent money on a psychic?
This is a total opposite of law of assumption, you know that right?
MOST people who are into ;aw of attraction are unhappy and desperate and they want something that they feel they can not have. Very few people who are living happy, fulfilled lives are dependent on tarot readers or psychics to make them feel better or give them ‘advice’. If your heart is broken, it needs to heal. This is what you need. Heal from heartbreak.
If you knew how to use the law of assumption you would understand that your concept of yourself, and your worth, is what is at stake here. If you understood this, you would never even consider going to a psychic again in your life.
The community groups
The manifesting community is the worst place to go for any advice, you can see how delusional and toxic it is in less than a minute. The communities main aim seem to be to blame and shame anyone who is in a life situation that is broken, painful, and powerless.
Again, let me point out, GETTING that person is not your ticket to happiness.
If a law of assumption or Neville community’s main method is to blame the individual, they have NOT understood anything. It is convenient for scammers though, because when manifesting teachings fail, they DO blame the individual. You MUST hear this. YOU HAVE TO FIND HAPPINESS FROM WITHIN. It has become known as “self concept”.

We are made in the image of God, not as a carbon copy of God.
OUR access point TO God, WITH God, is though our heart,
This is called “the point in the heart”, and it contains your God Spark.

You will feel that calm and love that continuously pours out from Him to YOU. Yes. That is correct. You will feel God keeping you calm and safe, like a baby in its mothers arms.
YOU have personal access TO God, THE God. This is different from “I am God of my reality”, that statement gives you NO sense of love.
To notice and feel and experience the love that is continuously pouring from God to you, you must treasure and protect your heart.
If you don’t safe-guard your heart from love-predators, you have to build walls around your heart, you have to become tough. You become glib, or bitter. Or you have to become “sexy” or manipulative.
Then you can’t hear or feel God, and you feel alone….lonely…. desperate….obsessed…. Then you want to manifest your ex back…See how that works?

Rejection HURTS
No-one likes being rejected, hurt or treated badly. I sure don’t and I know that you don’t either.
Yes, I knwo that what seems to be the solution is to get that person back, to validate us. It is not. You think that this will prove that you’re good enough. In fact, you ARE good enough but that person has nothing to do with your goodness.
Yes, I see that EVEN if they were shitty to you, you think that they will make you happy when they come back.
Yes, even coaches think this way and the most popular YouTube coaches are not only TEACHING this, they are living proof of how sick and twisted life becomes if you are stuck on a “CHEATER”…
One coach comes to mind, she said she manifested a notorious non attached dude to commit to her, and even marry her, AND a change in his RELIGION, and the next thing you know she has changed to HIS religion, all the while he was cheating behind her back.
They got married even though he continued to cheat.
Is THIS what you want?
I don’t believe that it is.
When you get married you need to make sure that you choose the right person from the start because marriages get rocky, a lifetime together is difficult, and if you have picked someone who treats you like garbage it is MUCH harder. Pick the right person first, then be aware that down the line it will be difficult, but you will have a chance to make it.
So my point here is, when you’re thinking, this person, your ex, is an a-hole, but THEY don’t want YOU! and your EGO or your HEART is hurt that a horrible person has dumped you.
You SHOULD be celebrating.
Let them GO.
Discover instead how precious your heart is and begin to treat it right.
If you manifest them back again and again you have won nothing.
EVERYONE has gone through what you are going through
Who hasn’t had a relationship break down, you thought you were “dating”, and in the first few weeks or months it broke down and fell apart.
I have been there too, of course, if this happens, let that person go. It is precisely within the first few months that you discover that it will or won’t work.
Learn how to go on dates without committing to this stranger, Protect your heart until you have found a person who will treasure it.
So don’t be desperate to fix it. Instead, be desperate to treasure your heart.
Go after safe-keeping your heart like a precious gemstone with the same fervor that you were going after that stranger. LOVE your heart. It is a gift from God, and only very few people will deserve it.
And…YES they are a stranger.
You don’t know what they do on their spare time, most likely you would hate what they are all about. Fast forward ten years you won’t even remember that they existed. That’s a stranger.
It Wasn’t That Great
You have glorified them. They treated you like crap, and you put them on a pedestal, but trust me, that relationship, if you can even call it that, was not that great.
They might have love bombed you and you were on that high, I get it, but love bombing is a fraud.
.Once that initial period dies down you start to see the real them. That is real, the love bombing was not real.
Rather than try to get them back, start to heal and look at it objectively. You will realize that you wanted and deserved better. It happens quicker than you think, if you put your focus on your self worth.
They weren’t all that anyway. This is the truth.
I have taken a couple of exes back, and regretted it so quickly, you immediately realize that it ended for a GOOD reason. HEAL, and you will ask yourself what you ever saw in them!
Limerence and infatuation creates oxytocin, which is a powerful bonding hormone, but once this hormone dies off, your stuck with the facts… and you realize that was all it was. A high!
Toxic Reddit
The problem with the Neville Goddard SP community is that this sobering up from the hormone high never happens.
Instead of sobering up, healing, putting your dignity back on, and reminding your precious heart of how beautiful and shiny and new it is, you keep yourself stuck in a rollercoaster of artificial oxytocin highs, by indulging in “vibrational” manifestation work.
Here is a fact for you. If you will be with this person, married, for life, it doesn’t matter if you break down and cry, if you heal and move on, if you move across the globe. They will find you,
God will bring you together, whatever needs to happen will happen, and your vibration makes no difference. NONE. Just get sober, and make decisions that are wise, not foolish. I did absolutly NONE of these crazy things when I got married. It makes no difference if your “vibration is high”, in fact I suspect that it would be off-putting. Repelling.
I know, what you HAVE been doing is manifesting them back, visualizing, affirming, scripting, whatever you can do, to constantly tell yourself that THIS is the person for you, this a-hole, will be perfect, and you’ll have the perfect relationship, if only you can just figure out how to make this manifestation stuff work.
….How to vibrate precisely right…
Let me once again remind you of one of the most popular coaches and her rollercoaster ride through marriage with a cheater, and then after that failed, one sp after another. This is the result of obsessing about the WRONG person.
A stranger.
Don’t you ever take a step back and think ‘is this person really what I want?’ How much more of a beating can my heart take?
Keep the image of your pristine heart, and imagine that you throw it on the ground, in the mud. That is what you are doing.
Now, ask yourself: ” WHY do I want this person who has hurt me, treated me badly, l who has completely let me down and who simply, just doesn’t want me?”
Why?
I remember seeing someone on REDDIT who was manifesting an ex for 10 years. That is, they spent ten years completely stuck in life, living in the end of a fantasy with someone who forgot that they exist years ago. Ten years that could have been ten amazing yesr doing just about anything else. Maybe being happily single, who knows? Ten years married to a wonderful match. Ten years raising a family with a spouse. Ten years getting a PhD, or writing a book, or travelling the world. YOUR heart is a treasure. I know a woman who missed her ex also, for ten years, and then learned about manifesting and got him back. She immediately realized what a gross slob he is, and boom, she was over him in a second and she broke up with him.
Learn how to heal. How to keep your ego out of your hearts business. This isn’t about one-upping someone, it isn;t about showing them who’s best. It is about cherishing your own life and your own heart enough to know when and who it is worth investing in.
I know that I missed my first boyfriend so much after we broke up, and it was only after I found something out about him that I was able to let go. Like discovering the truth behind a delusion.
Love cause you to have rose colored glasses, we are made this way, and it is so that we can overlook all the human normal flaws in a person long enough to actually get married and procreate. this means that initially, we idealize them, but that wears off. If they have love bombed you and then treated you badly, you still have those rose colored glasses on. Remember. That person is a stranger. You prematurely allowed yourself to get emotionally attached to a stranger, and now you have to heal your heart, this doesn’t have to happen, if you understand that you must CHOOSE who your partner will be.
YES right and wrong exists, and mental health is real
I know I know, in this weird era, we say “there is npo good or bad, only thinking makes it so”, but it doesn’t mean what you think it does. If someone has hurt you you know instantly that you think that was “bad”. It is still that simple. Trying to make a bad into a “oh.. its fine” will make you nuts.
SOME of you are manifesting someone who is happily married to someone else, this is wrong. I see the most toxic groups make this into a “There is no good or bad, only thinking makes it so” situation. You will break your own heart. Yes, I know that all the people out there say that you can do anything you want, but is destroying your mental health what you want? AND, it also means that you don’t value the sanctity of marriage, and this is going to backfire if you get married.
Some of you are manifesting changing someone’s sexual orientation…. um…okay?
Some of you are manifesting t someone on IG or a celebrity who don’t even know that you exist…. Then you go from forum to forum, from REDDIT group to Facebook group, and endlessly try to get advice, and yes, you go from coach to coach. Endlessly seeking a new approach or a new technique a new “it”, and surely, you spend money on psychics too. Every time you see a success story, you get a dopamine high, and for every video that says ”THIS is the secret sauce” you go on and try that method for a while, as if it is sorcery or spell casting. This is very damaging for your mental health. Meanwhile, most likely you are getting shamed on those same forums for failing to get that total stranger. Yikes. To what end are you doing this?
Come back to life
Take your life back by healing. “Oh but do I HAVE to heal to manifest love”….read back from the top please.
Take your heart back from the wrong hands. That stranger has filthy hands, why are you letting him/her touch your pristine shine beautiful heart? GROSS!
Take control over your physical body and decide to not give it away to strangers anymore. It is a temple, it is sacred.
Your heart is given to you by God, and your body is His temple, so treat t like the pristine treasure that it is.
You can start brand new, you have that power. Let go of the desperation and hopelessness, and give yourself and new clean slate. Start over, be more vigilant. Know your value more.
So who is REALLY a third party? Let’s see if you read this article… Certainly NOT THAT stranger that your ex is with. Your ex was not even yours to begin with, and that is where you have to buckle down and get very real. That person who was not your spouse owes you absolutely nothing. YOU made the choice that your heart was trash, don’t make that choice again.
Dating and relationships are NOT on par with marriage.
Only marriage is marriage.
If you are not married, technically, that person can not cheat on you because you are not in if for life. you are just in it for the time being, and time being is up as far as they are concerned. YOU have to learn how to value yourself a lot higher. You do not HAVE a third party problem, you have a problem giving up your commitment to strangers.
I know, I get critisism when I question the lack of morality in the manifesting communities, but that is fine. Someone has to say something, and it may as well be me. IF YOU ARE OUT THERE just having fun, just sleeping around, make sure that your intentions are completely clear. Don’t pretend that you are in a relationship if you know this isn’t the one for you.
So get this. Unless you are married, you CAN not have a third party, and THAT so is a stranger.
If you realize that they are a complete stranger, for all you know, that AHOLE that love bombed you is Ted Bundy on his spare time.
Some people are even married and they don’t know that their souse is a part time serial killer.
LEARN HOW TO BE DISCERNING!
Chose your spouse wisely. YES, that person that you went on a date with is a stranger. YES that person you were in a two month love bombing fest with is a STRANGER.
Learn how to care for your heart, and learn how to be discerning when CHOSING a partner, because this choice is for life, hopefully.
